No legislation was passed in 2009 to reduce Military spending. NONE. The deficit on January, 20 2009 - when Obama took office, was 1.3 trillion.
Same as it is now (no revenue generation to cancel the bush tax cuts and stimulus has ended).
Obama's ONLY spending that adds significantly adds to the deficit is the stimulus, and roughly 1 trillion.
Less than 10% of our debt, and 0% of the current deficit.
