Yeah it does. The only reason people play it now is because it has a surprisingly good multiplayer mode, which was just tacked on near the end of the game's development.
i think its the opposite i think the multiplayer sucks cause its just shotgun wars the whole time. the only reason i want to play gears 2 is cause the first ones single player was awsome. especialy if you played with a friend

I agree that the campaign is what makes gears but online could be really fun if they got rid of host. This game however should not be spoofing a game like gears.GOW is way out of its league.
