I love our draft! Vontae Davis and Sean Smith will be our corners of the future. Given their size, its about time the Dolphins became a more physical team. Thats why the Ravens killed us last year. About Pat White, I'm a huge Mountaineer fan and can vouch that Pat White is a very good and accurate passer. Unfortunately his receiving core wasn't very good and they dropped LOTS of balls on him. Add in his running ability and the Dolphins got a huuuuge steal with him.

i agree with you..my only problem with ginn is hes scared to get hit...i couldnt count how many times he'd catch a ball and look for the sideline to get out of bounds..and you can't forget fasano..hes a damn train

BTW I'm starting to like Vontae...now that I've seen more film. But i thought Pat White was a stone cold steal. Prolly the biggest in the draft. Honestly in 2010 if they have QB competition i wouldn't be surprised if Pat takes it from Henne. I thought he was better than Sanchez or Stafford. Plus he's double threat and could prove to give defensive coordinators hell come gameday.

he was projected as a top 15 player. The fact we got him at 25 was a no brainer. I was thinking we'd go with nicks when the dolphins first got on the clock, but then i remembered Davis wasn't picked yet. There was no way we could pass on him.

Vontae is way more athletic and much more of a sure-fire tackler. I'm watching the Mich-OU game right now and in the Championship game vs. LSU there are times when Malcolm just flat out gets burned down field. He just doesn't seem to have the recovery speed that is required by the elite NFL corners like Asomugha, Bailey, etc. While with proper coaching Davis seems like he could make it to that level because he has all the raw talent.
