Saint's Row and this game probably have the best customization to date, I was really impressed with the first Saint's Row, Oblivion is excellent as well.

So this is where EA applied all their efforts. If they'd implemented something like this into the Sims 3, the game would've been flawless. Not to mention the hideous Sims 3 character models. I don't know what inspired the team to transition from the nice-looking models they previously used to those fat-headed freaks. I'm sure many would've preferred to control unique, less cartoony characters like these or the ones used in The Sims Medieval.

They sell millions of copies of the sims and and they can't put this kind of awesomness in it?At first I thought they just didn't have very good technology,but now I see this.They just expected us to buy the sims because they put in an effort for the sims 1 and 2.But then they just slapped together whatever they wanted to and we all bought it because we expected it to be the best of all of them all.EA is getting really lazy.I miss the effort they used to put into the sims.

If Sims 3 came out with a patch, or even had to wait for Sims 4 to have this customization, I wouldn't mind paying $100 bucks for this! Although, I'd wait for a decensor patch to come out, that big blur is more noticable and annoying then having naked sims walking around.

Talk about customization!! I agree with you blondeangel204, the sims3 definitely needs this kind of customization. That would be the best! I wish EA would take the sims this seriously. I was sadly surprised at the lack of customization they put in the new sims game. It really isn't that much better than the sims1 or 2, in fact, in some areas, it's worse. On the other hand, for those who have computers that can properly handle the new sims, the graphics has improved immensely.

@iceyelf1 True, it would take a long time to make one sim, let alone a whole family, but for some of us simmers out there, that wouldn't be an awful thing. Customization is half the fun. :D EA actually has gone a little bit more in this direction with each expansion pack they have released so far, but like I said before, detailed customization like this sort, is exactly what I would like more of, personally. But you're right, it would take a lot more time to create characters.

EA is just the publisher, its the developer that needs to take it serious (which if I recall correctly, is Maxis in the case of the Sims). Sadly theres always a budget to consider...
