  • Spastic Camera man.

  • OMG!! 21 Years Ago :P

  • deadly footage, nice to see the old wooden works again, the quay front has changes a lot since then

  • its still in service

  • Any idea which of the 001s it was?

  • nice footage, so much has changed since then! The remains of the old south station at 3.50?

  • Haven't been in Wexford town since the late 90's but I used to love seeing this. I wonder did many accidents happen there?

  • This is the town I remember growing up in. Some good.

  • 0:43 Bellend in the Fiat Uno driving in front of the train's path!

  • Nice video, thank you for posting.

I miss the old woodenworks and think it was a mistake to demolish them. I also miss plaice and chips in the Grill Room at the Talbot Hotel (3:25) which disappeared when the hotel was "modernised". Not everything old is good, but some things are worth hanging on to.

  • my god this brings back memories of going to rosslare on a bank holiday with my family back in the days you shot this film . sadly though we were driving ! i loved the A class locos too .

  • what is the speed limit for that section of track? has that crossing even got any gates?

  • 5 mph the sign says at 0:27

  • Isnt it amazing how much

the town has changed in only 10 years? I also saw your video on Redmond Square. Again , almost historic though only 10 years have passed. Keep up the good work! Wexford abu!

  • omg totally different..

  • ive got a few cab rides on that line

beautiful line and this is a great part of it :D

  • Great video, good to see the old south station once more

  • the memories a flooding back.the summer holidays in wexford town when i was a young lad.fair play....

  • go on wec , this vid is hundreds ov years old :L

  • This is great. Its a bit historic because the quay front of Wexford has completely changed since 21st August, 1989: the woodenworks, or wooden quays on the left, after the bridge, have been replaced with an entirely new quay area and some of the buildings on the right have been rebuilt or renovated. Great video.

  • Absolutely wonderful. Nice footage. Is this line still in operation?

  • Yes not much traffic now and the harbour has changed as well.

  • Is it carrying freight or passengers?

  • It's a passenger train from Dublin Connolly to Rosslare harbour.

  • thats really weird ! when was that ?

  • It was filmed on the 21 of August 1989 at about 12.12 I think.

  • fantastic bestcab ride ever !

  • Through Wexford Quay on an A class is something else, that's one to remember!

  • Is the line still open like that in wexford?

  • It was last year when I went down there, the only thing that has changed is the harbour is not so close now and has been moved out and a car park added in between.
