Yeah, you watched a BOOTLEG, 70 minutes (the USA version will have 100 minutes), bad quality version instead of just wait to get the 1st impression on a Big screen with HD and actual FULL movie ? come on doc, i thought you would be more than that =/...

I've watched the bootleg, and i liked, didnt love for sure, but i cant judge it by 30 minutes missing of footage, but i surely didnt hate like you did, i donno why you are so disappointed, what were you expecting man ?...

not saying it will "save the film" because it doesn't need saving yet because its not "failing" but it could change ones perspective on the film. You obv didn't see dragonball, if one of your problems is "lame ass dialog" in dragonball the dialog was just as lame, and the special effects, dude you watch 70 minutes of digital camera footage, it may seem lame because of the CAMERA, watch it in HD and they probably aren't that bad.

I did see dragonball how could you accuse me of such a thing, when I said nothing of the sort to you. There is so much wrong with the film, and no I didnt compare it to the anime.

We will see if its just the CAMERA or if in fact the SPX suck ass. Bad acting, poor charater dialopment and cheezy on-liners will also be in those missing minutes, and don't tell me you can get great charater diaolopment, good acting and good one-liners are all in that 30 minutes

well I believe that this was what was shown in asia and they didn't like this from what I heard. I knew they'd be changes but even those changes were horriblely developed, I mean we learn pratictly nothing about important figures like Piccolo or Roshi. But I guess I'll still watch the longer version.

Yeah i know there has been some bad reviews on net but didnt you see this coming ? most of those reviews are from people, like u, that watched the bootleg leaked and freaked out, and others are from pure haters that never liked the idea of DBE..but of course some reviews are just from people that just didnt like the movie, like anyother movie not everyone likes it, but believe me 70% of the reviews out online are from the bootleg version..also..

Yeah, the bootleg one is from a Japan theater, justin chatwin said that in japan they had to tone down and cut some parts to make it PG overthere, i donno how their PG works, i've heard they are really free with animes and hentais but in live actions/real people is not the same...also the bootleg from japan has 70 mintues, the movie in japan as u know has 89 minutes, 19 minutes missing, come on..and there is a rumour of a 100 minutes version for USA and some oher countries, so what im trying

trying to say is, calm down, not everyhope is lost, this 1st film is just the base of the trilogy, go to DB the movie and read the new interviews u'll understand why they started with DB and that the sequels will go deeper in DBZ and all, remember there were many questions left on DB that was only explained in DBZ, like piccolos race, goku's race, etc, so they'll probably answer alot of them in a sequel...going deeper in this new story..;)

What was left out was mostly scenes already shown from Sina - The intro/fight with Grandpa Gohan, the fight with Roshi. The only thing not shown that wasn't on the internet was Carey Fuller running over Chatwin and the ensuing scene where he hides from the bullies. Do you really thing HD, plus those extra scenes would have made this movie even decent? I don't.

1 - the gohan vs goku fight lasts exaclty 4 minutes, there are 30 minutes missing, please.

2 - the fight with roshi WAS in the bootleg, dont lie.

3 - what i said about HD and big screen is about 1st impression, best way to watch it in is theaters not in a bad quality cutted version.

its not really dragonballish in the begining of the movie it felt im watching the OC or One Tree Hill at first i hate them shows. plus Yamcha does not do anything special at all, Shenron dont even speak and he does not look like Shenron it looks like the Dragonball from Dragonheart. The Dragon from D-Wars was much more better and his the proper Shenron, Piccolo does not do much and they made this movie a revenage story, also the oozaru never can be control by no one not even Piccolo

I didn't find any problems with it personally. It was a little rushed and fuzzy, obviously because it was pirated, but I thoght it was pretty good. However, for me to get a real judgment I'm going to have to wait until it comes out here.

Trust me, I'm not just saying this. we could have had something far better and that was what I was expecting, but would you put this on the same scale as The Batman, Spider-Man, X-Men or Iron Man films? They really did try on this, the charterazation was the wrost this about it b/c there was none.
