I'm not saying some of the poster's suggestion might not be true, but, I think trying to prove it these days with photos is hard. A better idea would be to contact the person's living relatives and ask them about their loved one who died in 911. Ask them to send you a picture of them...or, more bluntly, ask them why their photo was so bad in the memorial. You see, this is a bit harder since you have to do some work...but it would be more convincing.

@911SMOM Thank you for the sites. I took a look at them all. They still don't address the issue of actually going out and doing some real research into the posted photographs. A lot of the examples on the sites don't hold up to close scrutiny...the faces that are suggested to look identical are not, there are enough detailed differences to show different people. In order to be anywere more convincing or definitive, the investigation of this theory will have to get on the phone and on the street.

Also, you may only have an indistinct blurred shot at the family picnic. You'd try to clean this image as much as possible to make it readable. I think the image idea presented here assumes a lot. In regards to the "bad" photos, you have to think about the sourcing of images. If I had to do a "memorial" of a number of people and have their images...I would like the best images avalible. But, this is not always possible. You might get photos directly from the family. However, this is not always assured. It's possible that there are no single good photos of the person. You might have to then use a different source, like a group photo.

In the 90's, it took NORAD about 1 hour 20 minutes to intercept a highjacked passanger plane.
Back at that time, NORAD interception were limited to Offshore ADIZ, there was no Domestic ADIZ until after 9/11 when the FAA and NORAD increased cooperation.

The longest warning they had about a hijacked plane was 8 minutes for Flight 11. Flight 175 had crashed into the tower before it was reported, Flight 93 was reported minutes after it crashed and Flight 77 crashed minutes after it was reported.
There was no automated method for Air Traffic control to contact NORAD, which is why the bad communication.

@MrGman8161 Near gravity speed? The towers fell in about 15-20 seconds. Free fall speed would have been 9 seconds. Also, if you look at the site of the collapse, you can clearly tell they did not collapse into their own footrpints. There was a large debris radius about 5-6 blocks in Diameter.

But in short, yes, there is pictures showing alot of damage to Building 7, as well as quotes from fire fighters who described the damage, and why they pulled from the area because they were worried about the condition and stability of WTC7.

It seems he is saying the towers performed better than expected.

Tests were carried out to see what the tower could withstand, but there is uncertainty whether or not fuel was taking into account on these tests. But nevertheless, the towers were still there after the plane had hit.

@puppetmaster195 Because the design held. For an hour and a half. The fireproofing blasted from the steel rendered it impotent to the resulting fire. There were no sprinklers in operation or anything to attenuate the fire. So it burned on bare steel with nothing to lower the temperature or spread.
As I have said about a zillion times now. There is a reason fireproofing is on the steel to begin with. Its not for fun or decoration. And there is a reason all the EXT columns are bowing.

It was alerted about Flight 175 as it was crashing into the South Tower, Flight 11 was reported to them as missing rather than Hijacked, Flight 93 had crashed a few minutes before NORAD were alerted.
There was no automated method for Air traffic to alert NORAD. Back in 1979, it took them 1 hour 20 minutes to intercept one civillian plane.

I'm not saying some of the poster's suggestion might not be true, but, I think trying to prove it these days with photos is hard. A better idea would be to contact the person's living relatives and ask them about their loved one who died in 911. Ask them to send you a picture of them...or, more bluntly, ask them why their photo was so bad in the memorial. You see, this is a bit harder since you have to do some work...but it would be more convincing.

A lot of the examples on the sites don't hold up to close scrutiny...the faces that are suggested to look identical are not, there are enough detailed differences to show different people. In order to be anywere more convincing or definitive, the investigation of this theory will have to get on the phone and on the street.

Granted, some look similar...but they're not identical...check the noses, eyebrows, shape of the faces...not the same. Also, in publishing, from the begining, images have been manipulated for presentation purposes, like changing contrast, color, sharpness, and composition. Distracting things in an image might be cropped or eliminated via retouching. Sometimes this is done only for a good layout composition,,,as National Geographic was blasted for on a cover with pyrimids. Continued>

Continuing. You might have to use an image that is not a photo, but that is a printed version from a magazine or newspaper. Maybe the person appeared in a group photo for some orgainzation. Also, you may only have an indistinct blurred shot at the family picnic. You'd try to clean this image as much as possible to make it readable. Also in this presentation, it's suggested that the firemen are "clones" of eachother. This doesn't seem reasonable due to the variations in their faces. Continued>

I think the image idea presented here assumes a lot. In regards to the "bad" photos, you have to think about the sourcing of images. If I had to do a "memorial" of a number of people and have their images...I would like the best images avalible. But, this is not always possible. You might get photos directly from the family. However, this is not always assured. It's possible that there are no single good photos of the person. You might have to then use a different source, like a group photo.

The longest warning they had about a hijacked plane was 8 minutes for Flight 11. Flight 175 had crashed into the tower before it was reported, Flight 93 was reported minutes after it crashed and Flight 77 crashed minutes after it was reported.
There was no automated method for Air Traffic control to contact NORAD, which is why the bad communication.

@MrGman8161 Near gravity speed? The towers fell in about 15-20 seconds. Free fall speed would have been 9 seconds. Also, if you look at the site of the collapse, you can clearly tell they did not collapse into their own footrpints. There was a large debris radius about 5-6 blocks in Diameter.

Tests were carried out to see what the tower could withstand, but there is uncertainty whether or not fuel was taking into account on these tests. But nevertheless, the towers were still there after the plane had hit.
Like previously mentioned, it was the combination of resulting damage, failing components and the fires that brought the towers down.

It wasn't fires along that brought the building down, it was the combination of fires, missing columns and floors, weakened columns, damage to the south east corner of the building and the large hole down the middile of the south side caused by the collapse of WTC1.

@puppetmaster195 Because the design held. For an hour and a half. The fireproofing blasted from the steel rendered it impotent to the resulting fire. There were no sprinklers in operation or anything to attenuate the fire. So it burned on bare steel with nothing to lower the temperature or spread.
As I have said about a zillion times now. There is a reason fireproofing is on the steel to begin with. Its not for fun or decoration. And there is a reason all the EXT columns are bowing.

Who's your source? a buddy on YT in the TM? Dude. Every single hijacker was confirmed on the aircraft starting from the customs agent who allowed them to board (his interview is on YT) thru on board flight crew who ID'd seat assignments. Down to ground operations at each airline who cross reffed names to seats and ticket booking info. They knew who the hijackers were within minutes of the event.

@puppetmaster195 Pull doesn't alwasy mean demolish. When Pull was used, it was meant for any remaing fire fighters to withdraw from the area, since they were worried about Building 7 coming down due to it's condition.
It collapsed because over time, the fires weakened the columns and components, sagging floors caused the perimeter columns to bow, tilting the weight above until it gave way.

@Hotters70603XL They were in the area of the WTC7 trying to control the fires. Larry recieved a call from the Fire commander who said they were not sure they were going to be able to control the fire. Larry told him to prevent anymore loss of life, to pull from the area of WTC7. There were several fire fighters on the WTC site, and they were worried about the condition of WTC7, believing it was going to collapse, which it did.

@Hotters70603XL The windsor building had a core of cement. And no 767 hit it at 560mph.
Remove even small areas of fireproofing from steel and the entire piece can fail. So its not a straight across comparison at all. Therefore its really a useless comparison.

@Hotters70603XL Firstly, fire from diesel fuel and building debris does not remotely approach the necessary temperature required to weaken and melt steel. Steel is melted and forged in sophisticated blast furnaces at incredibly high temperatures.
You got that right dude. But nobody ever said it melted. It only needs to lose tensile strength. And remove the fireproofing (as the plane did) and you now have ZERO fire rating. Its not put on the steel for fun and decoration.

Thermite is a waste of time because there is no CD tech in the world who would EVER use this substance for such a thing. And Welding torches produce the exact same little spherical balls. Fall in to their footprint??. Good luck!! Fall 3 blocks away more like. Nothing "Controlled" about any of the collapses.

@Hotters70603XL When the term 'pull' was used. This never meant to arrange a demolition. The fire commander meant to pull firefighters out of the area. This is because, looking at the damage on WTC7, they knew collapse was inevitable. They didn't want to risk any more life.

@puppetmaster195 Why do you always say fire alone brought down the towers? It was the combination of fires, missing core and perimeter columns, missing floors and failing components (e.g. trusses) that caused the collapse. The towers did NOT fall at free fall speed, 20 seconds is not free fall speed. Also, watch the collapse, you can clearly see the debris and columns falling faster than the main tower, not possible if the tower was collapsing at free fall.

From the customs guy to on board flight crew who ID'd HJs seat numbers. Down to ground ops who traced the ticket booking info. They knew who they were within minutes.

@Hotters70603XL The air force couldn't find the plane because, guess what, they weren't alerted about them in time. It was alerted about Flight 175 as it was crashing into the South Tower, Flight 11 was reported to them as missing rather than Hijacked, Flight 93 had crashed a few minutes before NORAD were alerted.
There was no automated method for Air traffic to alert NORAD. Back in 1979, it took them 1 hour 20 minutes to intercept one civillian plane.
