I'm hoping that after my time at college I will be doing this professionally for the rest of my life, god knows I'm not getting any younger!40 in Nov so believe me I will be making the most of this great chance to go back and get my education in this stuff for real! The music does play a big part as my editing style requires a song that tells a story that I can manipulate to the characters and the story I am trying to portray in the video.

Thanks. I tried to use some different clips this time, but do have a tendency to go back to the old faves, the gate clip, the look down from the window. A lot has to do with the look of the characters as I try to get them wearing the same, or similar outfits so that it does not look like I have 12 episodes in one video!! But it can make it a little harder to come up with the right shot!

I use a $50 box of software from Magix, Movie Edit Pro 11. It has some great effects built into it, but I like to try and manipulate them to work differently. Then it is just a case of seeing what my brain can come up with and if the software will allow me to do it that way! All trial and error! lol

Thanks. It all comes from the song choice and if clips jump into my head from one lyric then I try to go with that. The initial concept I had for this did not come together as I had thought so I spent 8 hours on the opening sequence and then the next day decided I hated it and threw it all out, but then I find that one clip or effect that works and I go from there.

Hey I'm not going till 9/21, ticket is booked, but have to sell the house and wait till then because of my cat who is coming with me. I apologize for being so lapse for my responses back to emails. Since I came to this idea I was going back to the UK, life has just been hectic and emotional as anything to get the house on the market, find homes for animals I have had for 14 years and work. Your welcome, it was a long painful months break as had to have my oldest dog put to sleep (not for convenience sake, it was just the right time) and find homes for the rest of my zoo, so I was ready for a way to release all my emotions. The song initially proved not to be as easy as I had 1st thought to work with, but then I seem to get in this zone and what you see is where even I did not know my mind could take it!
