Even if this bullshit was true I think that saying he 'admitted' to his crimes does not mean he actually did them. People will do anything under torture, those religious lunatics probably lied and said they would stop the torture if he admitted to his crimes.
werewolves aren't just evil creatures in some places they are believed to be the hounds of gods and have the power of angels plus that of a werewolf this was all a theory of a man who was not tortured but tried as guilty of being a werewolf and forced to live out his life in prison

What is the evidence that werewolf tales appear on every continent? Sure Europeans would have transported it from Europe to other parts of the world, but are their indigenous tales?
I really dont believe in these myths but is interesting to know how they became to be believed and how the myth itself got formed in the minds of the people. I think there is only disturbed people, especially back then when they didint have any knowledge about strange diseases or complicated diseases such as schizophrenia
This is a very nice film. I enjoyed it greatly. However I think stories from the middle ages told while under torture (and I mean TORTURE) since the Europeans were the most savage with their inquisition, were not real.
@BraveTallGoddess U know i totally agree with u bc who wouldnt lie to get themselves out of torture??? I mean that's what the people wanted to hear back then a confession that could be fake.

Please. Lot of Twilight fans say he's a werewolf, they keep calling him a werewolf, but he clearly isn't. He's a shape shifter who becomes an over-grown wolf but an ordinary wolf, otherwise. Nothing in between.
@JacobTheRedWolf And if you go to my Steam page, it shows a registration date 2 months before the first book ever came out. And Thank god I have that proof or I'd be pissed cause of that twilight crap.
@piloneman Wrong, per definition the character is a werewolf. I doubt that Meyer knew that but hereditary werewolfism was already part of folklore for centuries and there are stories where the werewolf in his wolf-form is as big as a calf or in one story as tall as a big horse. And I am talking about a quadruped wolf, not a bipedal dog-man. The original werewolf was that, a human transforming into a gray wolf. These canine-human hybrids were poriginally something totally different.
@inotaishu1 No, I heard somewhere was stated as a shape shifter but not a werewolf. I too, have read books about werewolves in a library years back. However, besides, I've always been fascinated by such creatures. I have heard about quite a few sightings or encounters with such beasts. And when you think about it, if there's a full moon, and you would look up at it, and thinking to yourself, "What if? What if there really is such a thing?" Sometime, I ponder about it myself, personally.
@piloneman Per real life definition. Yes in the fourth book they were referred to as shapeshifters by the Volturi, but since they can only transform into wolf it is totally correct to refer to them as werewolves. Albeit Meyer probably didn't intend that, the Quileute are more similar (in appearance) to folkloric werewolves than her Children of the Moon. Based the guide you must be an idiot to confuse the looks of the two.
I just wanna make sure, what sightings and encounters do you mean?
@inotaishu1 I have been into this kind of fascination all my life and I resent in being called an idiot, sir Admittingly, I wish to learn more about werewolves personally, in which I'm going to. And for the sightings, I have heard about certain sighting and stories about certain encounter few years ago.
@piloneman I didn't say that you are an idiot. The description of the Children of the Moon in Meyer's guide is quite different from that of the Quileute, therefore standing up close that Caius must be an idiot to confuse the two kinds of shifters. Albeit I doubt that Meyer had thought much about it whole writing the 4th book. These "moonies" have hands, muscled arms and an ape-like stance. Up close there is no way to confuse them.
And are you talking about these sightings in North America?
@inotaishu1 Forgive me, inotaishu. That uh, the word "idiot" rubbed me off the wrong way and i admit, I got defensive. Bit touchy, I guess lol so again, do forgive me:)
@inotaishu1 I sensed you were going to say that lol Well, for example, I never got a chance to watch this entire documentary. First starters. And I will watch and listen to this entire documentary all the way through soon. But for right now, it is time for me to turn in, for it is late where I'm at. But I wish you very good night and have a good one :)
@piloneman Actually where I am it 10 am in the moring ;)
This video is not too bad, but not really extensive in my eyes. I send you a list of books I would personally recommend. And some I would advise you to stay the hell away from.
@inotaishu1 I see. yet, I would probably read anyway because I, in general, always liked a good, scary werewolf story. But I wish to thank you for your suggestions :)
@piloneman Well the ones I advise against are of the sort that claim to know but actually don't. And who don't give their sources which is always a sign of questionable books in my eyes.
jacob. a vast and good study, of werewolves and lycanthropy. may i put a rench in the work and give you ,,something to find out...OR THINK about. if werewolves were noted back to BC, and alexander to 1500 AD. it does seem that lycans from alexander are hybrids of werewolves though plague. which would imply 2 different species.
@renton1664 Except it's crap because lycanthropy is a mental condition that makes you believe you are a werewolf, you don't physically change. If a mentally-deranged person tells you he is an octopus though he looks human, are you going to make myths about wereoctopi that roam the land as men during the day then roam the sea as octopi at night? No. Though admittedly, it would sound awesome... ^^
@BloodspillingSam Well obviously they dont physiclly change. thats is why it is lycanthropy and not being an actual werewolf.
What i was trying to get at was a few hundred years ago (or whenever) people had lycanthropy (as a few do now) and over the ages stories of such savage killing got twisted, memorys got twisted etc to form the myth of people actually changing into wolves. Ever heard of "Chinese whispers".
my kookem/grandma told me a storie of a meddicine man who would change into a wolfe on fullest moons and when dogs go around then the dogs would b scared there r other stories that my kookem/grandma told me but i cant remember
i read an artical on gillis garnier that was published in 1924 in weird tales part of a series of articals called weird crimes by seabury quinn garnier was a very creepy guy at the end of his trial he was ordered to transform into a wolf he then dropped on all fours and started howling and growling and capering around the court house i read that in the artical
great job im a big fan of werewolf stories i just started reading stories by seabury quinn a writer of werewolf stories in weird tales magazine werewolfs are facinating to me
Come to think of it, I don't know if he did a master degree or a doctorate but from what I understood, he could do his thesis on whatever he wanted at his University. And he chose to do it about the werewolf. Of course it was in Sociology.
I guess I could see a thesis being done on werewolves, from an academic point of veiw. True, sociologists usually do study groups of people, but I guess it all depends on what branch they studied such as social sociology for example.
He could probably even get a bit into anthropology and study different cultures abroad that believe in this sort of thing. If he did it for a doctorate, he probably already did something like that though.
Can you imagine how fascinating that would be to do that? My best friend introduced me to this guy at a party and he knew I was a werewolf fan and said to me "OK don't go nuts but this guy studied in werewolf at his University". The discussions were awesome that night. The fact that he's a writer made it even more nuts. Since then, he's been on television, wrote best sellers(not about werewolf, though), etc...We've talked about doing this werewolf epic script together.
Maybe it was a degree in mythology or something like that. I could see people studying things like demonology, parapsychology, etc. in that field. It is always interesting to meet people who have unique backgrounds in their education :) I met a theology doctor before lol That's about it when it comes to areas like that :P
We Hmong people spoke about Tigers that are similar to werewolves act. Werewolves and vampire are the same because in most asian culture, they always say that a vampire human transform into any animal...we hmong people say it's a ghost or a demon.
i think alot of what we see in fairy tales might be real. the illuminati is aware of this andputs it as a story to make it seem as a joke. for those who know abt illuminati will understand this. also, the bible doucuments giants startn with the story of goliath they were 20 or 40 feet giants. and if you dont think this is true, they have recently found 40 foot skeleton in india on a beach after the tsunami happened it was brought forth from the sea. also same 20 to 40 foot skeletons found.
Were is that skeleton now? Is there any hardcore evidence of such a think. You can't verify that claim anymore than anything I can make up on the spot. What are the chances of an intact skeleton of a giant human washing up on a beach after a tsunami? So the skeleton was originally in the ocean? Do you really think that any shadowy third party would be needed to ridicule already fantastic and impossible claims? What invested interest would such an organisation have in doing so?
@Nelladagar I am a fool for giving FACTS N PROOF of the Reality of what is being portrayed in movies n what is assumed to be a fictious story? Really, YOU sound like the fool. Anyone with a brain will agree with me.
@Nelladagar Why don't you go ask that Question to the 40 foot skeleton in India on the beach? : ) p.s. then go ask all the other ones all around the world!!
@Joel0277 i agree with you. but is the giand sceleton real? I red that it was fake ... ow i'm confused. And if these are real facts- i meen about the werewolf legend how could aybody kill people and kids this way?
@Joel0277 It's easy to create things to make people believe in. It's called technology and Asia is the leading country of technology. They could probably create a world above the clouds, call it heaven and promise you'll all go there someday. Believe what you want dude, but seriously think about it. Until you see the proof with your own eyes in front of you, you have nothing.
Yeah those silly people...believing in a God who sits in the clouds judging man, creating the earth and all that stuff...wait a minute, people still believe in that very ignorant stuff. Looks like the age of reason has still yet to arrive.
I don't see people in 2200 thinking were dumb because most of us don't believe in all that strange stuff such as werewolves now days. However, they are some people in some remote place that still believes in this stuff.
Since the beginning of our existence people laugh about their ancestors for the things they believed. And so on and so on. Do you really think that we are on the brink of knowledge and understanding? And that we have nothing future generations will laugh us about?
I have an old swedish book: Af ulven which is like Of the werewolf/ulve its stands how to know someone is a werewolf and how to get ridd of the problem.
hey. japans werewolves were called Fitsunes wich means fox. nd this kitsune had miltiple tails and they were always female. cant realy call that a real werewolf.
I have this project on unexplained phenonmenons and I got werewolves. Is all of this reliable and if it is where did you find all this, I can't put your name because my teacher will laugh at me.
Superstitions were A LOT more prominent back in this particular era. It's not that hard to believe when there is documented proof that hundreds of innocent people were burned at the steak during the Salem Witch Trials, in Oregon.
My mother told me a history about werewolfs. When she was young, she had a friend called Maria. Maria said that a strange and hairy creature had attacked her chickens on her house. My mother say that this creature was a candy seller that works in a subway.I believe in werewolfs.
There's a offbeat western with Johnny Depp wherein there's a character, this loner who survives by expertly killing and eating the few men he stumbles on; this guy looks okay on the surface. To me, the logical and believable explanation is canabalism. My point is, what goes on in the recesses of another's imagination is incredible and nothing new. It's enough of an explanation for me and reason Paul tells us in II Corinthians 10:5 we need to "cast down imaginations" and the key to sanity.
now here is the thing. Werewolves are like people. They have different personalities and before, when people were starving and near death, becoming a werewolf made them even more hungry and they went insane. Werewolves are a completely normal creature of nature and they are mutated because of genetic reasons and because of having some relation with another werewolf. People who become werewolves can often be horrible and kill people, but not all werewolves are like that.
That's how the werewolves are in my novel. They can talk, they're not insane. They do have a more aggressive temper than humans, though. It's a link to the old lore.
Hello I am a writer and i want my first book to be a werewolf novel. your videos have given me a lot of information on the subject. I have loved werewolves since i was a kid and i stayed up the other night watching all of your videos you made. I loved them all and you did a great job. When are you going to finish.I would like to watch the rest of them. Thanks a lot
Nice job with the documentary. The sound production is well abouve average, script well balanced and you have a good "story" voice. There are quite a few werewolf stories from my native Sweden too.
You know, I really appreciate that. I created the music myself with FL Studio. Thank you very much. I didn't think that my voice was that good, but, I guess I was wrong.
Oh, and its not done yet. I still have a few aspects about werewolves to cover. Some those include The Full Moon, Wolf Attacks, The films, and the real diseases associated with werewolves. Those aspects will be uploaded as new installments in this documentary soon.
Jacob The Red Wolf is a character I created loosely based on my personality in a novel I wrote. He's a werewolf and when he's in wolf form his fur is a very dark blood red color.
Also, I have two middle names. Jacob is the second one.
The first one, the one I'm done with, is called "Unexpected Things." The second book to the whole story will be called "Unexpected Things: Hell World."
jock roulett- pronounced roo-lay no t on the end. you have the first part right:) By the way very good documentry quite intricate to some of the most famous historical lycanthropes. We Hmong people spoke about Tigers that are similar to werewolves act. Werewolves and vampire are the same because in most asian culture, they always say that a vampire human transform into any animal...we hmong people say it's a ghost or a demon.
Why not try the Ouija board for some answers.

i think alot of what we see in fairy tales might be real. the illuminati is aware of this andputs it as a story to make it seem as a joke. for those who know abt illuminati will understand this. also, the bible doucuments giants startn with the story of goliath they were 20 or 40 feet giants. and if you dont think this is true, they have recently found 40 foot skeleton in india on a beach after the tsunami happened it was brought forth from the sea. also same 20 to 40 foot skeletons found.
Joel0277 2 years ago 14

@Joel0277 how the hell would a 40 foot skeleton wash up on a beach intact?
haha

@Nelladagar Why don't you go ask that Question to the 40 foot skeleton in India on the beach? : ) p.s. then go ask all the other ones all around the world!!

@Joel0277 i agree with you. but is the giand sceleton real? I red that it was fake ... ow i'm confused. And if these are real facts- i meen about the werewolf legend how could aybody kill people and kids this way?
TotalyGreenCherry 1 year ago
@Joel0277 It's easy to create things to make people believe in. It's called technology and Asia is the leading country of technology. They could probably create a world above the clouds, call it heaven and promise you'll all go there someday. Believe what you want dude, but seriously think about it. Until you see the proof with your own eyes in front of you, you have nothing.

If one were to look at this sort of thing metaphorically? BTW, you did a great job JacobTheRedWolf.

Thanks Eric. Cool name, btw.

It's amazing how stupid people were back then.
fireorb2 2 years ago
I see the -1 on your comment. But, its true, people were very ignorant back in those times. The age of reason hadn't come around yet.
JacobTheRedWolf 2 years ago
I totally see what you mean. Like how on earth are poisonous herbs and plants make you a werewolf? You'll just end up killing yourself.
fireorb2 2 years ago
One word for you, Shamanism. Look it up.
TheEricFlu 2 years ago 3
Yeah those silly people...believing in a God who sits in the clouds judging man, creating the earth and all that stuff...wait a minute, people still believe in that very ignorant stuff. Looks like the age of reason has still yet to arrive.
TheEricFlu 2 years ago 3
The names just changed. Back then they where called vampires, werewolfes and possesed. Today we speake of serial murders and psychopaths.
In our view the people then where stupid, but what will they say in 2200 about us?
ghostdivision7 2 years ago 2
I don't see people in 2200 thinking were dumb because most of us don't believe in all that strange stuff such as werewolves now days. However, they are some people in some remote place that still believes in this stuff.
fireorb2 2 years ago
Since the beginning of our existence people laugh about their ancestors for the things they believed. And so on and so on. Do you really think that we are on the brink of knowledge and understanding? And that we have nothing future generations will laugh us about?
ghostdivision7 2 years ago
I guess your right.

I am sure people in the year 3498 will get laughed at by the people of 7830.

saying werewolves were created not by curse but by magic?
olboardmoaier 3 years ago
No, I'm simply telling the stories that were documented by real French authorities.
JacobTheRedWolf 3 years ago
aah, so French authorities said werewolves could be created by magical stones :)
olboardmoaier 3 years ago
Superstitions were A LOT more prominent back in this particular era. It's not that hard to believe when there is documented proof that hundreds of innocent people were burned at the steak during the Salem Witch Trials, in Oregon.
JacobTheRedWolf 3 years ago
@JacobTheRedWolf
You mean Salem, Massachusetts =).
mslyndseylou 1 year ago
@mslyndseylou Crap. I knew it's in Massachusetts but I think I had a brain fart when I was reading from my notes.
JacobTheRedWolf 1 year ago
@JacobTheRedWolf
Not to be picky but the Salem Witch Trials were in Massachusetts not Oregon. There were no white settlers in Oregon in the 1690's.

dracentsparkle 3 years ago
There's a offbeat western with Johnny Depp wherein there's a character, this loner who survives by expertly killing and eating the few men he stumbles on; this guy looks okay on the surface. To me, the logical and believable explanation is canabalism. My point is, what goes on in the recesses of another's imagination is incredible and nothing new. It's enough of an explanation for me and reason Paul tells us in II Corinthians 10:5 we need to "cast down imaginations" and the key to sanity.
murphyclm 3 years ago
great documentary...
now here is the thing. Werewolves are like people. They have different personalities and before, when people were starving and near death, becoming a werewolf made them even more hungry and they went insane. Werewolves are a completely normal creature of nature and they are mutated because of genetic reasons and because of having some relation with another werewolf. People who become werewolves can often be horrible and kill people, but not all werewolves are like that.
spikewerewolf 3 years ago
That's how the werewolves are in my novel. They can talk, they're not insane. They do have a more aggressive temper than humans, though. It's a link to the old lore.
JacobTheRedWolf 3 years ago
alright, interesting and is this novel published if so give me some info!

Maugrim76 3 years ago
You know, I really appreciate that. I created the music myself with FL Studio. Thank you very much. I didn't think that my voice was that good, but, I guess I was wrong.
Oh, and its not done yet. I still have a few aspects about werewolves to cover. Some those include The Full Moon, Wolf Attacks, The films, and the real diseases associated with werewolves. Those aspects will be uploaded as new installments in this documentary soon.
Again, thank you very much.

wow, this is really cool! one quick question: why is your name jacobtheredwolf? just curious.
msoccergirl 3 years ago
Thank you!
Jacob The Red Wolf is a character I created loosely based on my personality in a novel I wrote. He's a werewolf and when he's in wolf form his fur is a very dark blood red color.
Also, I have two middle names. Jacob is the second one.
JacobTheRedWolf 3 years ago
really? you wrote a book? what's it called?
msoccergirl 3 years ago
The first one, the one I'm done with, is called "Unexpected Things." The second book to the whole story will be called "Unexpected Things: Hell World."
