After hearing a veritable plethora of horrid renditions of this and other Haydn songs, it is SO refreshing to hear this. Fabulous vocals (and delightfully crisp diction) and excellent accompaniment (I love it when the pianist is as expressive as the music allows!)....

It's Haydn's death mask (plaster cast taken just after he died) - perhaps a spooky idea to have used it
