Wr 250 r is street legal. However you can buy a kit to make wr 250 and 450 F legal for $1000

what country are you in i work at a yamaha dealer in australia and put all the new bikes together from the crates they come restricted so you can register them and ride them on your learners but we take the restrictor out of the exhaust and the throttle stop screw gets changed which all comes with the bike in the crate also comes with different jets and carby parts to make it go better they seem like a really good bike no good if your riding on the road tho tyres are too slippery

take a look at the bike, if you payed any attention you would notice it has bothe head light and tail light plus indicators.

obviously it can be road registered.
