Dairy foods are unhealthy for humans. What sick fuck took a cow, drank its utter and said "You know what. I can lie to people by making them think cow milk is healthy by saying the calcium in it builds strong bones and makes ya live longer. Not only that but i'll use it to make sour cream, yogurt, and cheese." It's not only unhealthy but it's so wrong and an insult to my intelligence and religion to use cows as milk and meat machines.
Most people have never seen a real dairy and believe any BS out here. Most people treat there animals well and care about them. Why do they do this? Because these animals are the Peoples Life Line. No cows no Money. Unhappy Cows less money. High heat in the summer causes large amounts of milk loss so Many farms have large fans and plenty of cold water. The young calves killed are for veal and other products. Yes it is cruel the way these idiots do it but it does have to happen for people to work

I'm not totally convinced by the farm at the start. It seemed fine.
Most of the cows were lying down and ruminating - a sign of cow comfort. The beds had sand coverings which are much more hygenic, and if thick enough, more comfortable than straw. They also all looked to be in pretty good condition with no excessive faecal staining.

Dairy and beef breeds could almost be considered different species! They suffer from many very different conditions and their genetics are so finely tuned that an over fat dairy cow could look like a very thin beef cow when in fact dairy breed genetics dictate more emphasis on milk prodcution than meat production so are therefore much thinner.

these dairy farms in some videos are shown in bright day light, the cows in them are happy n very disciplined, so this video is not completely true, at night even they tend to be in the sleepy condition, y did u film them in the night time secretly when the farmers are allowing u to shoot the video of there farm in the morning, is this the complete truth, try to educate the ppl in the true form. Here i m mentioning only about the dairy farm n not about the poultry or pork etc.
Australian Cows are pasture fed, and on top of that, supplementary fed in the bail as they're milked. In winter they're put out to pasture and fed delicious clover and rye grass hay twice every day. They laze away the few months before they give birth and begin their new working season, along with the farmer. A farm can only sustain so many stock, for this reason, only the best are kept. In the end, just like man, some must die, so that others may live, in all fairness, that's natures way.

Anyways people are worrying more about sports, entertainment, irrelevant subjects, and leaving aside subjects that DO matter. Animal cruelty is an extremely important problem and should be stopped. I really wish I had enough land to be able to purchase just one or two of the "useless" baby calves borne out of the dairy industry. I'd love to let him graze on my land and live out his life naturally, with no fear of being slaughtered for the sake of the demand for milk. I'm glad I gave up milk around 2 years of age. I just don't understand when people continue to drink it after they are of an age to be weaned. When I think of a cow's mammary gland, I have no desire to suck on it.

People can choose to drink cow's milk, or rabbit's milk or monkey's milk if they can get access to it, but the fact remains that calves are born out of the demand for milk and when the calf is no use to the industry, they are killed. This is why we have veal. People need choices and the freedom to make those choices without fear of being ostrasized for it
@CimaraNyx I know perfectly well why we have veil,when cows are inseminated or run with a bull we can't choose what sex the resulting calf is going to be,thats were sexed semen comes in 3 X more exspensive than conventional and doesnt always guarantee a heifer at that.All heifer calves are born IN demand,bulls give no milk, in most cases one is enough in your herd they are born out of demand and its something we cant do a thing about!!!!And you say its a fact id like to see the research for it

Im 15 and live on a dairy farm we have cows inside for 6 months of the year in similar(standard in todays industry)conditions to the ones in your video.We also have cows that have lived 15 + and the part about cows living 25 year is bollocks Im sorry but the naive public perception of cows grazing in fields al ther lives should be forgotten because for along time it hasnt been happening.Farmers cant afford with the public wanting for cheap food to graze cows outside WE ALL HAVE TO MAKE A LIVING

I have to believe in people, so I believe that as time goes on, we will help educate people that we don't have to treat other sentient beings like this. Milk is not what our government tries to tell us it is... it does a body good if you're an infant and cannot chew yet, but we don't need cow's milk or any other animal's milk after that point. We can survive and enjoy milk from soy, coconut or other sources that are not made to endure this horror for our enjoyment.

Proud to be vegan. Each time I watch one of these videos, it simply reaffirms what I've felt for years. I have only recently become vegan, after vegetarian, and I have never felt better or had more energy since I was maybe 12. I'm 49 now. Each day I feel better than the day before. I also sleep better knowing I not participated in the death of any innocent animals for my own benefit. I don't need meat, none of us do. We don't NEED it. We're advanced beyond it. Eat veggies and grain.
@lilithia23 It makes me sad and frustrated how the dairy industry tries to sneak dairy products into almost everything we consume. We are forced to really scrutinize the ingredients and have to become near scientists to know what's what..like calcium phosphate. To hear it, I'd think that's something to do with calcium, therefore milk, but it's not. What it is or where it comes from I don't know, but I'm consuming it to drink soy milk because it's in the list of ingredients. More research!!!

@369fernandez No, I absolutely do not take any supplements. Think about this.. of all the food in the whole world...all the fruits, nuts, berries and grains. the only foods I do not eat are beef, pork, chicken and dairy. I eat EVERYTHING else I can get my hands on! I have more fiber in me now than I ever did (won't go into the details but trust me, I do). Have had my blood checked and I'm healthier than ever. Kale alone has more fiber and iron than any meat. Just do your research on it.
@369fernandez Plus, eating no meat means I've gotten to try so many other foods. I never thought about the fact that we really don't like the taste of meat..it's the wood or seasonings that attracts us. I can season and cook over hickory all the time..with anything, mushrooms, for example. if we liked meat, we'd just eat it raw. Ever eat a raw squirrel? It's nasty. But cook meat and season it..then it's okay. Same thing with any food, but with fruits and veggies, it takes way less seasoning

Respond to this video... do your research on calcium and realize that animal proteins in milk actually cause us to leech out more calcium than we would if we got it from other sources. It's not the calcium that's bad...it's those animals proteins that are bad for us and you cannot drink an animal's milk without getting those bad proteins too. You're better off getting your calcium from vegetable sources. Read up on Boniva and others...the bad far outweighs the good. (no dot com sites)

It boggles the mind, How people can work in such a place. The guy slaughtering the 3 calfs must have no heart. Nor does any other employee that works there.
So first we had some cows trying to get some sleep in their free stalls while some cock walks around with a camera in the dark. Then there is a guy doing his utmost to ensure the calves are rendered insensible before they go up the chain. An finally some good old post mortem convulsing just to get the public excited.
THIS IS HORRIBLE. Im a vegetarian and still consume dairy simply because growing up we had people around us who were dairy farmers who were the most genuine hard working people i have ever met. they loved their animals and understood that they were responsible to make ends meet. its a shame this is what the industry has become.

I'm not totally convinced by the farm at the start. It seemed fine.
Most of the cows were lying down and ruminating - a sign of cow comfort. The beds had sand coverings which are much more hygenic, and if thick enough, more comfortable than straw. They also all looked to be in pretty good condition with no excessive faecal staining.
To somebody that has not worked with dairy cattle or seen them up close they do appear emaciated, however .. Most stressful

Dairy and beef breeds could almost be considered different species! They suffer from many very different conditions and their genetics are so finely tuned that an over fat dairy cow could look like a very thin beef cow when in fact dairy breed genetics dictate more emphasis on milk prodcution than meat production so are therefore much thinner.

Australian Cows are pasture fed, and on top of that, supplementary fed in the bail as they're milked. In winter they're put out to pasture and fed delicious clover and rye grass hay twice every day. They laze away the few months before they give birth and begin their new working season, along with the farmer. A farm can only sustain so many stock, for this reason, only the best are kept. In the end, just like man, some must die, so that others may live, in all fairness, that's natures way.

Anyways people are worrying more about sports, entertainment, irrelevant subjects, and leaving aside subjects that DO matter. Animal cruelty is an extremely important problem and should be stopped. I really wish I had enough land to be able to purchase just one or two of the "useless" baby calves borne out of the dairy industry. I'd love to let him graze on my land and live out his life naturally, with no fear of being slaughtered for the sake of the demand for milk. I'm glad I gave up milk around 2 years of age. I just don't understand when people continue to drink it after they are of an age to be weaned. When I think of a cow's mammary gland, I have no desire to suck on it.

People can choose to drink cow's milk, or rabbit's milk or monkey's milk if they can get access to it, but the fact remains that calves are born out of the demand for milk and when the calf is no use to the industry, they are killed. @CimaraNyx I know perfectly well why we have veil,when cows are inseminated or run with a bull we can't choose what sex the resulting calf is going to be,thats were sexed semen comes in 3 X more exspensive than conventional and doesnt always guarantee a heifer at that.All heifer calves are born IN demand,bulls give no milk, in most cases one is enough in your herd they are born out of demand and its something we cant do a thing about!!!!And you say its a fact id like to see the research for it

No one is questioning that. A cow doesn't give milk magically just because we want her to..she must be inseminated and give birth to produce milk. The baby is then taken away and if a male, killed and used as veal. I thought you said you work in the dairy industry. You don't know all this? I'm not understanding you

Im 15 and live on a dairy farm we have cows inside for 6 months of the year in similar(standard in todays industry)conditions to the ones in your video.We also have cows that have lived 15 + and the part about cows living 25 year is bollocks Im sorry but the naive public perception of cows grazing in fields al ther lives should be forgotten because for along time it hasnt been happening.Farmers cant afford with the public wanting for cheap food to graze cows outside WE ALL HAVE TO MAKE A LIVING

I have to believe in people, so I believe that as time goes on, we will help educate people that we don't have to treat other sentient beings like this. Milk is not what our government tries to tell us it is... it does a body good if you're an infant and cannot chew yet, but we don't need cow's milk or any other animal's milk after that point. We can survive and enjoy milk from soy, coconut or other sources that are not made to endure this horror for our enjoyment.

Proud to be vegan. Each time I watch one of these videos, it simply reaffirms what I've felt for years. I have only recently become vegan, after vegetarian, and I have never felt better or had more energy since I was maybe 12. I'm 49 now. Each day I feel better than the day before. I also sleep better knowing I not participated in the death of any innocent animals for my own benefit. I don't need meat, none of us do. We don't NEED it. We're advanced beyond it. Eat veggies and grain.

@lilithia23 It makes me sad and frustrated how the dairy industry tries to sneak dairy products into almost everything we consume. We are forced to really scrutinize the ingredients and have to become near scientists to know what's what..like calcium phosphate. To hear it, I'd think that's something to do with calcium, therefore milk, but it's not. What it is or where it comes from I don't know, but I'm consuming it to drink soy milk because it's in the list of ingredients. More research!!!

@369fernandez No, I absolutely do not take any supplements. Think about this.. of all the food in the whole world...all the fruits, nuts, berries and grains. the only foods I do not eat are beef, pork, chicken and dairy. I eat EVERYTHING else I can get my hands on! I have more fiber in me now than I ever did (won't go into the details but trust me, I do). Have had my blood checked and I'm healthier than ever. Kale alone has more fiber and iron than any meat. Just do your research on it.

I never thought about the fact that we really don't like the taste of meat..it's the wood or seasonings that attracts us. I can season and cook over hickory all the time..with anything, mushrooms, for example. if we liked meat, we'd just eat it raw. Ever eat a raw squirrel? It's nasty. But cook meat and season it..then it's okay. Same thing with any food, but with fruits and veggies, it takes way less seasoning

Respond to this video... do your research on calcium and realize that animal proteins in milk actually cause us to leech out more calcium than we would if we got it from other sources. It's not the calcium that's bad...it's those animals proteins that are bad for us and you cannot drink an animal's milk without getting those bad proteins too. You're better off getting your calcium from vegetable sources. Read up on Boniva and others...the bad far outweighs the good. (no dot com sites)

We've evolved (another argument) with a large brain capacity among other things, in part due to our ability to hunt and domesticate animals. Im a vegetarian and still consume dairy simply because growing up we had people around us who were dairy farmers who were the most genuine hard working people i have ever met. they loved their animals and understood that they were responsible to make ends meet. its a shame this is what the industry has become.
