Switch off your internet connection:

11111-11111-11111-1111X enter that in activate with a new license, a new window appears choose the keyfile, then you done.

Great method. My Kaspersky for some reason does not show the browse window and this is great if you don't want to disconnect your internet.

However, to make things simpler, rather than typing all that, you can drag and drop avp.com from your directory, then hit space and type "addkey" then hit space and then drag and drop your key from your directory then hit enter.

P.S. only the letters in "addkey" are typed.

i did it finaly it works!!! my kaspersky is internet security v (11.0.0.232) and my OS is windows 7 x86 i did some Mistakes on the first time but in the end it works like magic :) and the key smoothly installed

@jakduck i never used xp but what you can do go to the kaspersky installation folder

in propram files there is a single file there called avp.com right click on that file click properties there you see the the exact location copy the location there.

For those 64bit people that cant get it to work, copy this exactly and rename the key file to KIS11. It should look like this

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Kaspersky Lab\Kaspersky Internet Security 2011\avp.com" addkey "C:\KIS11.key"

bashereko for 32 bit you dont need to type x32 if you get error saying no opwrable program or patch means that you need to adjust few thinks in your command link

@jamieeeey maybe you are doing mistakes cause it works fine. If you are a programmer there is no doubt that something is right. So you have to check for mistakes. In my KIS 2011 works fine!

Very useful. I did something else based on cmd. I opened notepad, paste the code you provide and I save it in format *.bat

Now If I click twice on it is like an executable and adds the key automatically.

I made seperated files for every key I have and now when a keyfile is blocked the only thing I have to do is click another *.bat file and the key is ready!! Your tutorial is great. Thanks to you I could do that with notepad!
