I listened to a Takahashi Ai song and a Niigaki Risa song, and I have to say Aibon and Nono sound MUCH deeper than those two. They sound twice as old as they look to me.
@Momoko2288 Another one who disagrees with me? I don't get it, the symmetry is awful, the choreography poorly executed and the vocals are flat out painful to listen to! Granted vocaloid is an acquired taste and can't currently surpass real humans (unless you're dumb enough to try and do The Disappearance of Hatsune Miku), and maybe Tsujikago does some good work, but comparing these two all I can think is that whatever Tsujikago is trying to do, Meiko IS doing, and pretty well.

And sure I think Meiko's vocals are better suited to this song that Tsujikago's, but I wouldn't say I'm biased towards her. If we're talking vocaloids I prefer Luka by far. I see a lot of personality between the two Meiko's that is lacking between Tsujikago, si I just seem to get a lot more out of Meiko's video than Tsujikago's.

I don't know what PV or danceshot means, so you've caught me off guard there.
@PeinsDisciple aibon and nono have really high pitched voices while meiko (sakine that is) has an extremely computerized choppy voice so i don't think it fits this song as well as kago and tsuji's voice but the original by the peanuts is better than both versions so...
i believe that if meiko's normal voice had be used it would have sounded better
also sorry about that a pv is a promotional video (like a music video) and a dance shot is just the dance part so that fans can learn the dance

They remind me of Seto San's singing in the anime "Seto no Hanayome", which is considerably deeper than her rival Luna's, who is more suited for upbeat tracks like this.

I don't really understand how they can have a personality at all, really. At least other than what this video has already provided.
@MsSeaKittens Computer generated choreography is always going to be superior to real human dancing, because artificial dancers aren't physically limited in what they can do as humans are. You can see the differences between the two Meikos in their clothes and the way their movements go farther than Aibon and Nono physically are capable of, as in the leg kicks. Aibon and Nono on the other hand are dressed the same and just seem bored, as if this is their 20th shoot for the day.

Plus, MEIKO's version is more in tune than this one and the dance is WAY more synchronized and less dramatic than this one, even though it's not AS natural looking. Plus, Friday is hardly even a song, since there is almost no pitch change.

@deondredude105 The both songs were done by The Peanuts' and was sung often at TV music show, Shabondama Holiday in 60's. The show was so popular as was The Peanuts that nearly every Japanese watched and loved.
Aibon and Nono spent a LOT of time together since they were 12. Much of it was in Mini Moni ... The other girls in Morning Musume said they never went to the bathroom seperately, always together. They are so much alike ... if you observe them closely, you will see they not only move in synch, but their movements are very similar, almost mirror images. I don't think it is possible for anyone but twins.
Two other MM girls did W songs, but not anything like Nono and Aibon.

I think it's just because Americans are not thought of as cute, or rather our music industry does not rely on cuteness. Japan is huge on the cute thing, and American is more the cool factor/sex appeal.

@RavusViper sorry to randomly come in, but yes, it was love. Aibon said in an interview afterwards that she was so frustrated that she couldn't be with the person she loved. She didn't have a proper father and a staff member or something or other was really nice and fun, and always encouraging, so she fell in love, and felt loved by a father figure and all that. I don't think it was 'stooping low' particularly, there were other examples of big age diffs, look at Celion Dion.
Tsuji now lives happily with her husband & kid. it shocked everone when they 1st found out that Tsuji was gonna have a shotgun wedding at age 19! they all thought she was still a little girl! ^o^

Aibon and Nono were truely amazing ... such chemistry between them ... like real twins ... Their movements were not similar ... but identical ... They each had talent ... but together they were magical ... I hope someday we see them perform together again....

Aibon and Nono spent a LOT of time together since they were 12. Much of it was in Mini Moni ... The other girls in Morning Musume said they never went to the bathroom seperately, always together. They are so much alike ... if you observe them closely, you will see they not only move in synch, but their movements are very similar, almost mirror images. I don't think it is possible for anyone but twins.
Two other MM girls did W songs, but not anything like Nono and Aibon.

I think it's just because Americans are not thought of as cute, or rather our music industry does not rely on cuteness. Japan is huge on the cute thing, and American is more the cool factor/sex appeal.

@RavusViper sorry to randomly come in, but yes, it was love. Aibon said in an interview afterwards that she was so frustrated that she couldn't be with the person she loved. She didn't have a proper father and a staff member or something or other was really nice and fun, and always encouraging, so she fell in love, and felt loved by a father figure and all that. I don't think it was 'stooping low' particularly, there were other examples of big age diffs, look at Celion Dion.
