Sure, I could get a 6 (but not the Modulus - something cheaper), and practice. With time and effort, I'm sure I could deal with it. But, it just doesn't appeal that much to me. To each his own, ya know?

He is to the drums as Les is to the bass, & those two were made for each other( musically speaking of course! ). I've never known a bass & drum combo to compliment each other so well, & Les would tell ye the same. 1989 to 1995 is Primus' best time, with '89-'90 being the golden era. Those three bastards really do suck. :3

And there's no point comparing him to Portnoy as their music styles are so different. Styles aside though, Herb's diversity, precision, & mastery over every piece of the kit is what sets him aside from the rest. It may just be down to preference in the end though. He's the perfect drummer for Les, as the albums show. :>
