Quite a bit of fun this game was. My first encounter with the multiplayer in RTS. I played the Empire also. Shame there aren't many matches casted on youtube. Maybesomeone know some YT channels? I found one but this guy is a Pakistani who talks in English in such a way that I find it hard to listen to (sorry m8).

Interesting tactic, but I do not like ppl who's playing "rush". Ofc if you do not rush your not gonna have money enough for your next more powerfull attack, however, if I will you, I build first defences before rushing, or, playing sneaky and build sum marine behind the enemy lines and surprise him.

rising sun sux cause you have to build a car wich takes like 5 second and then drive the car to a nice location and THEN can you expand it wich takes like 1 minutes or less

what is the best way to encounter dozens of mirage tanks and allied artillery units?

i play as russian ,gimme a solution for my factions pls. I want a solution with ground units, i know that aircraft and navy would send them to **** but i cannot find any good combination of russian ground units.

@xXIiIUnamedIiIXx Apocalypse + tesla troopers are your best bet if you want to stick with ground forces. Mag harpoon the mirages in and take them out.

@Darknessattack The thing is that the mirage tanks have area of effect damage so they kill me many apocalypse tanks. I tried to use the harpoon on their artillery but there i a swarm of mirages in front of the artillery so my apocalypse can't get a lock. The tesla troopers can do something with their special ability , but even if 1 mirage attacks them the area of effect damage kills a lot :S

@xXIiIUnamedIiIXx Apocalypse shouldn't lose to mirage tanks if you have them on a 1:1 ratio with mirage. Micro them so that only one mirage is on harpoon, and the rest are hitting the mirage tank you harpoon. Keep your tanks moving so their artillery doesn't hit. It just needs good micro to win. Tesla troopers are useful to provide small amounts of damage, but the main force should be apocalypses. Alternatively, just get gunships and win.

@Darknessattack I play only with ground forces becauz my friends can't play with navy and air units. The thing is I play 1 vs 3 . They just swarm me with mirages and artillery (but i wtill win , they run out of money :D ).You gave me an idea. 1rst line with apocalypse tanks 2nd line with m harpoon apocalypse tanks. That could do something with the mirage tanks but i stil lhave the artillery prob. (i don't use gunships etc , my friends don't know how to play with navy/air )

@xXIiIUnamedIiIXx If they're new I suggest you engage them with apocalypse tanks to stall them while you sneak terror drones over to their base and destroy their harvesters. Putting terror drones on their secondary mode also helps with disabling their artillery, if you can distract the mirage tanks.

Of course, because they try balancing the teams, you can't really say a team is better than another, but I personally prefer The rising sun because of their versatility :D

Oh yeah, and I also like your playstyle. Very crisp and clean. The opponent should have built some tankbusters so he could have had a hope of winning :) when his first fleet of tengus died, he should have built a dojo at his base for collateral damage.

everything doesn't even look like anything. Where are the tanks that look like tanks in real life? Red alert 1 & 2 was real and that's one of the reasons why I liked it atleast. I'm not into Starcraft or Warcraft because of the fake monsters and fake shit. I just prefer real units from real life. None of all these weird units that act different. That's what I think atleast.

RA3's storyline is not par to CNC3's or any of the other CNC games. They should make RA more unique than just "war lol" like the floating fortress in Allied campaign, they could've made it SO much more like, sneak tanya in, or something like that. Rather than just AIRCRAFR CARRIER SPAMM :L

Be warned though, if you record in high-resolution FRAPS takes alot of space. It took about 4.9gb for 4:30 minutes at 1280x800 resolution.

I used virtualdub to encode, or "dub" the video in the XviD codec, which reduced it to 750mb

He's fairly experienced, he plays with me on my team on a regular basis. We were both choosing random. Tankbusters aren't really a good option in a jap mirror, because they get cut down by tengus very fast.

All settings are set to "crap, crap, and crappiest", except resolution, cause it's a competitive multiplayer game.
