First of all, a choice by definition means having more than one thing from which to choose. Second, some CPCs do give false information (e.g. having an abortion does not give a woman breat cancer).

If you go to any CPC's website, it will say, probably in very fine print, that they are not a substitute for professional medical advice, because they are not. They're a special interest lobby. I have a uterine disorder called endometriosis. It's a very painful disorder that without birth control can keep me away from school and work for a week every month. It also could make carrying a pregnancy to term very dangerous. It is because of Planned Parenthood that I may have a chance to have children (or not) with out risking my life for it. If I do accidentally get pregnant either from a rape or from a husband/boyfriend, abortion could be the only way to save my life.

Have you had a laparoscopy to properly diagnose this? Because I had a girlfriend who was told by planned parenthood that she had endometriosis and she had to use the pill but they made a false judgment based on her symptoms. That's what P.P. does, they treat symptoms and don't seek and treat causes. It turned out that my friend had a poor diet and all she need to do is get more vitamins in her diet. But other women need surgery to be CURED. The tissue outside of the uterus is devastating...

endometriosis is not a life-threatening condition. The surgery is not an emergency. When I have a career and am able to afford a doctor and the surgery, I do plan on getting it. But as of now, I can only afford 30 dollars a month to get through school and get that job. There is no cure for endometriosis, just the treatment to prevent ovulation and the production of estrogen...of course there's always menopause. There are different levels of the disorder. Some need surgery, some don't.
