  • This actually looks to be the pilot for "Shoot For The Stars", which premiered January 3, 1977 on NBC. The pilot would probably have been from 1976.

  • and doesnt for crime doesnt pay although that was not a key word

  • I thought they were going to buzz her for using the word two in bicycle built for two and two was the key word

  • This had a lot of potential. Better than it's revival "Double Talk".

  • @singingsav And I think Geoff Edwards is much better than Henry Polic II. :-)

  • Well, the jackpot needs to start out at something a little bigger than just $1,000. At least start it at $5,000. I like the fact the contestant has the giving option for the end game. Not a bad game.

  • @RedNekLvr22 For a 1970s game, even $1,000 sounded like peanuts.

I'd want it using NYSI's jackpot system-- starting at $5,000 and going up by $1,000 until won.

  • @gshowguy I would think that it would be best to just have 10 phrases in 60 seconds for $10,000 and a consolation prize of $100 for each correct answer if not won.

  • @RedNekLvr22 I think when the show made it to the air as "Shoot For the Stars", they had the bonus round jackpot start at $5,000, or some other larger set amount, and increase by maybe $1,000 until it was won.

  • @disneyfan81 Where did you hear that the jackpot started at $5,000?

  • You can barely notice but at the end, when the credits are rolling. Geoff is doing a little dance at 2:49!

  • A fun little game to play, but just a bit too easy for me.
