you get what you pay for with audio. well except for BOSE. they sell you a trud for too much money. but these headphones are legit unless you are listening to music that has no real harmonic range at all. i recommend this headphone over most in it price range.

Put you headphones upside down (with the headband on the bottom and they will fit fine in the carrying pouch. Thats what I do with mine.

Once I bought Monster Turbine, I don't believe in this company's audio product anymore. I have to say that Monster Turbine still so much better compare to my friends Beats earbud. That $10 (Beats $189- Turbine $179) must be the tax from monster for those "all star commercial".

I have these, the only thing I really don't like about them is that it was extremely hard to twist in the ear cups after you twist them off and clean them. Amazing pair of headphones, well worth the money.

@chrisfoster4 Do you even know what dB (not DB or Db) is? They are decibels, a measure of volume. Any headphones can "break" any level of "dB" given enough power. You obviously have absolutely no idea what you are talking about.

And sure they can "break" a dB level, but the question is is if they can do it still sounding clean and without distortion. These sound like shit with the amount of the power they are given now. The Punch Plugs can do 116.7 dB WITHOUT distorion. Meaning PERFECTLY CLEAN! unlike the beats

Sure, it may matter in professional speakers that are blasting out sound to a concert audience, but why the hell would you want 116.7 decibels (about as loud as a jet engine) of music blasted through your ears. You would be deaf in minutes.

@SemperFeared Well first of all, i can tell you that a jet engine is NOT 116dB. dB measurements are often miscalculated. And you would definatly not go deaf in minutes. I'velistened to my heaphones full blast for over 2 hours, i pulled them out and can hear PERFECT. For some people with sensative ears,yeah. Some people like low volume, some people like it it loud. Im one of those people. But even if you set aside the loudness issue, the sound quality is still not top notch like they advertise.

@chrisfoster4 Full blast is still under 90 dB (on iPod/MP3 players/non amplified devices). Anything over 85 dB will cause accelerated hearing damage over time. 116 dB gets pretty close to a jet engine and rock concerts, but is well over a car horn, subway station, etc. But yes, I agree, the Beats do not offer adequate sound quality for the price (but neither do the Punch Plugs). I was trying to clarify to you why a "decibel limit" is completely irrelevant to the sound quality.

But i have had these punch plugs for over 2 years, and can still hear perfectly, some people that might not be the casse but for me yes.And believe this, apples to apples,(Punch Plugs to Beats Pro)($400 to $99) The sound quality is 10x better . When i first heard the Pro's, i couldnt stand to hear the poor SQ. And i know SQ when i hear it. I have a $4000 car audio setup that is top of the line Rockford Fosgate.The punch plugs have ALOT SQ

@SemperFeared Then you didnt have them in your ear right. Lots of people make that mistake. The beats have no little to no SQ, compared to the Punch Plugs. And the actual retail price what RF was going to sell them for was $379, but then the beats came out during the manufacturing and they dropped the price drastically to compete. They are not worth $100. They are worth about 3x more than that based on sound quailty. You couldnt honestly say that the Pro's are better.

@chrisfoster4 I own 7 high end IEMs, I know how to properly insert them in my ears. In fact, I pulled them out and reinserted them 3 times, and then tried them with Comply foam tips. All four times, the sound signature was reminiscent of the Beats, with an emphasized bass that muddies the rest of the spectrum (although not as bad as the earphones and Solos). Soundstage and instrument separation were below average. Pros DO sound better (though not 4x as much), and so do $79 Klipsch Image S4.

But i have yet to find a pair of over the ear headphones that offer the clean bass, midbass, and highs that the PP offer. @chrisfoster4 Punch Plugs are mainstream headphones - they don't offer true high fidelity sound but an emphasized bass that is "fun" to listen to. Yes, they are better than Skullcandies, Sony Extra-bass, etc. But they do not provide clarity (infact, quite the opposite), nor soundstage and instrument seperation (which is hard for earphones, but if you have listened to the UE TF10, which I doubt you have, you know what I'm talking about). I own over $8000 of home audio equipment...

@chrisfoster4 Not including my $6300 Bang & Olufsen audio system in my Audi. I know what high fidelity audio is - an I can tell you that the overly bloated bass on the Punch Plugs is far from that. You can find much better sound from cheaper earphones such as the Klipsch Image S4, Etymotic MC5, Monster Turbine (Turbines have the same sound signature, but the bass is low and deep and punchy and will not distort the mids and treble). Sorry, but the Punch Plugs just do not sound good.

The reason why your pros don't fit in the case is because you put them upside down. There's a reason why the bottom of the case is curved, it's supposed to fit the headband. Hope that helps you.
