Hit or Miss using Voice activated system.600 miles now can't adjust seat, car jumps in drive gear. Not enough room to plug in phone charge.The dealership claimed they were working on moving me to a FUSION.STILL NO FUSION I just want to return the car and get my Rav4. The hinge being on the right side means that you might not feel as safe opening the trunk because you'd be more exposed to traffic. It would be a better design if the hinge was on the left side so that the door would be between you and traffic instead (door stops at about 90 degrees so its not going to swing all the way around fyi). Just a minor safety design that could have been avoided but I am still a fan of this car.

@XBLPanzerr The rear hatch opens to the right instead of up. This is great in Japan, where you'll park with the curb to your left. In the U.S with the curb to the right, you'll have to go around the hatch. It's a common complaint from what I'm researching.

I have a '96 RAV4 and prefer the exterior look to the newer models. The new interiors are much better though, and I do kind of wish mine had more cargo space... but overall, love the car. It's great and even handles light off-roading pretty well.

I love my 07 sport model. Very fast v6. interior is nicw but needs more interior lights in the rear.

There are interior lights in the rear, you just have to activate them.

For example, in the rear passenger seating, there is a light on the ceiling - flip that on and the interior will illuminate the back, which is pretty close to the cargo area.

I have compared similar vehicles in this class for quite some time and have taken half a dozen various Rav 4's with different configurations for test drives from various dealers.

There is no comparison to the spacious cargo room you get with the Rav 4.
