Ok guys ill set the record straight. I've seen stock R33 GT-R's run 13.6 with a good driver and 14.0 with a bad driver. So its possible for an Altima to beat an R33 GT-R. But an altima with only an exhaust...i dont think so. This is a 3rd gen altima and at best he could only run 14.0 under the most ideal of conditions. So if it really was a GT-R he won because the other driver sucked.

In Japan Nissan claims that they are 280 hp, but that number is low due to restrictions in Japan. If you dyno a Skyline with the RB26DETT DOHC it should have around 350 whp and that would be to all the wheels because its all wheel drive.

Skyline GTS, and GTS-T = rwd skylines

Skyline GTR = awd skyline

That's sn R33 chassis, it's also not possible he lost to an altima, I don't care what anyone says. Unless the driver wasn't racing at all, a rwd turbo charged car will walk all over a fwd car with minimal upgrades. The concept of weight shifting off the line gives the advantage to the skyline, the turbo gives advantage.

@AhMyAnkle And powerloss through the drivetrain give the FWD an advantage just cause its a skyline doesn't mean it is fast. A stock skyline gts-t runs 14.5 and stock altimas run 14.2's and i have personally seen a stock altima 3.5 pull a 13.8 it doesn't matter FWD or RWD what matters is the time it runs a quarter mile. And obviously an altima can run with a skyline get over it not all skylines have 1000hp

I own a 1993 skyline gts 5 speed with a turbo and I raced my dads 2005 altima 3.5SE automatic with nismo cai,headers and greddy exhaust.

he had me by about 2-3 car lenghts.

Skylines a big name but don't underestimate a VQ35DE.
