Good Band, be careful on dumping on the Bible because of some music protester.  The theme of the Bible is the theme of most songs of any genre...Love. If you read it for faith, for historical, sceptical, or fictional reasons, that is obvious. I actually think music is only as powerful as it is because of the tie between arts and faith if you separate them both become empty. but thats my opinion.
