this soundtrack is a miracle. from 2:16 on i get goosbumps everywhere - right now while typing this - incredible. so emotional and sad, yet still hopefull and mysterious

What an unbelievable mis-carraige of justice that this beautiful and haunting score wasn't even nominated for an Academy Award ------ and that was when they were dividing the category between Drama and Comedy.

Shame on you Hollywood voters for not giving the great score its due.

@irarube Agreed. Thomas Newman's strangely overlooked. He's scored some of the biggest movies of the last 20 years (Shawshank Redemption, American Beauty, Road to Perdition) and although he's probably respected amongst fellow composers and musicians, the general public don't know him nearly as well as they do names like Hans Zimmer. To me he's easily in their league. Especially in terms of originality. Still he's just been assigned the task of scoring the new Bond movie! Fingers crossed!
