LOL... Little do you know... Little do you know. I want to be able to get into the gut of the device, not scratch the surface. Your "newly discovered" program mainly show basic information of the device at which is already available for viewing from within the phone. I guarantee you your "hack" program will not be able to enable/disable:

-MMS

-PORT changing

-Phone As Modem

-Custom graphics

-MAC ghosting

-File accessing

-Cloning

... and more

I believe you're looking for the Subsidy Code. This will reveal the master phone lock code, which your service provider will not want to give to you. With this code, you can reprogram your phone, reprogram another person's phone, steal someone else ESN # and program it onto yours in order to use their minutes, setting up free internet on your phone, or do a bunch of illegal stuff. But hey, you didn't hear it from me.

say i have a v3xx. and im only using p2kcommander with acess to my seem files.

if im correct in assuming that whenever you change this code your phone automatically changes the values in the seem files to whatever you want then it saves somewhere.

No problem. Glad it worked out.

The problem with other tutorials are, the uploader are not specific (as to which phone can be used and for which carriers). Maybe because they have no idea what they're doing at all, or simply because they think it works on all razr's. In actuality, those phone tricks are useless if one sets up a password on their phone, also, those trick does not apply to all razr's/carrier. My approach is a more universal way and it allows you to breach the security system.

You and 67Eftw (person above you) may have a GSM phone. If both of your phone uses a SIM card, you need a different program. If it's CDMA, you need to update you computer and install the motorola phone driver.

2734??? Do you mean 2783? Because that's the seem (directory) that is used to store your code. By typing the code into the "LOAD" seem box, it will reveal the code. If you change the code, it will automatically write it onto the "SAVE" seem box.

Are you on a GSM network (GSM phone uses SIM Card)? If yes, alot of GSM phones are not compatible with these program. If not a GSM phone, try cleaning and reinstalling the motorola drivers, then launch motorola software updater (MSU), then launch seem editor.

Just so you know, if MSU is not running in the background, seem editor will not detect your phone.

When I try to connect my phone to the Motorola software updater, it doesnt find my phone. I have a razr v3m. I installed the drivers first, then the software updater, and thats as far as my phone will go. even mpt would let me connect my phone.

Yes you should be able to. Just simply insert the sim card into the phone you want to use. The sim card has all your information on it. Certain phone model may require additional programming.

Is your "Phone" from the US or another country? Do you have a V3? Did you keep the Software Update program running in the background before launching Seem Editor?

On the bottom left corner of the Seem program it either says "connected" or "disconnected". If "connected", the problem is your phone. If "disconnected", run Updater first, then launch Seem Edit. I'm sorry, but not all Moto's are compatible. I only assumed it works because all 7 phones that I've tested it with, works with no problem.

This version Seem Editor is not compatible with V3 since V3 are GSM and this program is for use with CDMA. I've posted a different program on the description area since youtube won't allow posting of direct link on the message board. Be sure to check the description. Download FlexEdit, extract it, and read the "Readme" doc. It contain info of how to properly setup your phone and how to get to Seem Edit. FlexEdit is strictly for GSM, so if it doesn't work, I don't know what will. See how it goes.

Hi, i was using the software and i told it to update the phone, about 57% of being done an it gave me an error. so i unhooked my phone and turned it off now whenever i try to turn it on i get the motorola screen flashing on and off and it won't stop until i remove the battery please help

Youre never supposed to disconnected the phone under any circumstances, during an update. Unhooking it while updating may result in a brick. What type of internet connection do you have? Cable? DSL? Dial-up? It's possible that the program lost the connection to the internet (leading to an error message), or you have a faulty phone. Faulty phone are usually refurbished/used phones. Another guy emailed me about the same thing and turns out his phone was faulty. Bring it in to have it checked out.

i think my phone was faulty because the error came up and closed the software updater and everything, so i didn't leave the phone plugged in and have it hurt the phone, but i guess i should have left it plugged in. but no worries i took back to sprint and they gave me a fusic to replace it.

Cool. That's even better. Updating the phone is not dangerous but shutting it off or interfering with the update process, is. Regardless if you're updating via computer or through the phone itself, it's not such a good idea to end the process and/or shut the phone off without first completing the update. It can damage the phone. Another thing is, updating time varies so if it freezes at one point and stays there for a very long time (15 mins plus) more than likely you have a faulty phone.

hey would the this Motorola software update program work on my new Motorola krzer k1m its a cdma phone that never came with this disc to install all these programs, im with Koodo mobile a telus off branch in Canada would it mess up my phone if i did the update ?

Yes it will work. It's a universal program. This program is what the manufacturers uses to reset/reprogram defective/returned phones, so of course it does not come with the retail disc. It will not damage your phone as far as updating. Just don't mess around with the Seem Editor program (unless you're an advance user and knows exactly what you're doing). Otherwise you'll seriously damage you phone. Possibly even resulting in a brick (meaning your phone will never turn on again).
