Ummm supra is super heavy compared to a factory civic any day of the week. Striped out civic even without a swap and a few bolt-ons will be faster then a 400hp supra. Now go race a 800+ hp supra and this might be a better video.

@TSiGUY1992 Yeah. They're nice swaps, if you like your hood cut so the motor comes out, and you can shut the hood. I know they made mounts so you can close the hood, but that would mean the motor sits low to the ground. K-swaps already have that problem. I can imagine a J swap. Type this in your search bar: "Franklin Perez's 1994 Honda Civic Ferio Full Length Feature" and "Worked 905 J32A2 Supercharged v6 Swapped Rando Civic 1,2,3,4 Rip Onto Highway". That supercharged one has other videos too
@TSiGUY1992 I would use hmotorsonline. You could also try a salvage yard. Before getting the motor i have, I almost got a full k24 longblock from an accord at a salvage yard for $475. But those are only 160hp 162tq motors. Still a good motor. Plenty of people use them and boost them. They're just as strong I believe, and if you wanted, just put an RSX-S, or TSX head on it for more power, and "true VTEC".
But in an "eg" which most people call their american 92-95 hatches, (though they're EH) should do a little better since there a little lighter. Most un low 13's with bolt ons alone, and sme manage hig 12's. Even in coupes like mine, or the Si version which is 100lbs heavier than my EX.

I have the k20a2 swapped in my 00 coupe, ane I've beaten plenty people back when I had a shitty "swap" header, and my old tiny diameter intake from my singlecam cut in half to fit. And my tiny stock exhaust which killed A LOT of power, making me only have 184whp when they dyno around 180whp stock. With that power back then, I also beat many 05-09 GT mustangs, and hung with a 6.0 GTO. Some people just can't drive

@nmsvsbrad13 k20a.org has every bit of info you need. and k-tuned and hybridracing both sell their own package deals with what you need. its expensive still, unless you want to buy used parts from people on forums. this guy wont answer your questions. its not his car, and its not mine either. theres ALOT you will need. but he doesnt have a turbo. just intake, RCREW header, and buddyclub exhaust. his also isnt tuned, but he has hondata kpro in his ECU. the k20a (type-r) ECU is fine to use. i did

@jimmydang28 its not exactly topped off. its a 6 speed. im sure it was just a fuel cut since it isnt tuned. thats how my k20 swap was. i couldnt go all the way through 5th, or 6th. but now that its tuned, ive taken it to 5th at 150 MPH. if i didnt run out of road, i could have used my 6th gear.

@ORIANA250 civic mods are k20a, intake, rcrew header, buddyclub exhaust. NO tuning. 203whp. ran 13 flat. even a full interior coupe with the USDM k20a2 and bot-ons can do the same or better in a quarter mile. not sure on the supra
@joescivic if you ran 13 flat then the supra is not 400 whp, you kinda destroyed him by alot, that supra would have been stock. I have a stock turbo stock boost supra that runs consistant 13.5 at 105 mph at the stock 10 psi boost, its mods are turbo back exhaust, cold air intake and FMIC. I figure my car is making about 320 whp. after my boost controler and a fuel cut controler, boost will get set at 20 psi and should run 12.5 at 115 mph. then it will be near 400 whp.

@ipodman166 that motor comes with 220hp. since its a type-r motor (from japan only), ive never seen one dyno, but the k20a2 in the U.S. with 200hp makes about 180whp. so i guess its safe to say this k20a makes about 190+whp stock. this hatch made 203whp untuned
i own a supra stock n/a, i raced a vtec civic from 0-140, i admit the civic took off faster and was wining by about a carspace, till about 80kms/h, then i raped it.. i won by at least 3 carspaces ...
note my supra is auto :D and i did not even redline it :D
what you all dont realize is by the time that thing spooled the k was already through 3 gears, power to weight ratio is the key, you can easily take cars with twice the horsepower if u weigh half as much, JDM all the fuckn way!

Wow this car has one of the biggest hp I ever saw.My engine isnt even close to that my engine is a v8 high performance big chevy block 350 custom made for raceing it costed me about 9000 dollors but its worth it.

Impressive performance but sound wise, it can't even begin to compare to large V8 displacement. Sound wise, something like a 5.0 'stang or 5.7 chevy is way sweeter. The sound of that thing is really, really annoying. But if sleeper performance is what turns you on, it sure seems like a cool package.
But dollar for dollar, you probably could have done much better elsewhere.
@Pilot16H they don't all sound this shitty. He had a buddyclub exhaust. They're loud and raspy. Plus, less interior makes it louder too. My k20 civic makes more power than he did (real owner of the video sddrift) with my k20 swapped civic, and its quiet when driving normal, almost identical to a 350z's sound when cruising. At full throttle you mostly hear the motor
Yeah somewhere I read that this Civic in particular runs a 13.1 1/4 mile... Don't stock MKIV Supras run like 12.9 1/4 miles? Even if they don't... this one supposedly has 400rwhp... so it should be at least in the mid 12s. I call bullshit on the Supra actually racing him, or that it was actually a 400rwhp turbo Supra.

@nmsvsbrad13 k20a.org has every bit of info you need. and k-tuned and hybridracing both sell their own package deals with what you need. its expensive still, unless you want to buy used parts from people on forums. this guy wont answer your questions. its not his car, and its not mine either. theres ALOT you will need. but he doesnt have a turbo. just intake, RCREW header, and buddyclub exhaust. his also isnt tuned, but he has hondata kpro in his ECU. the k20a (type-r) ECU is fine to use. i did

I have been in over 3000 races and the ONLY car power to weight to come close is the foxbody. After that it just matters if you want front or real wheel drive. I love rear wheel, but the hatch is more controversial and fun :)

The rear seats aren't even 50lbs and the plastic panes in bac are like a couple pounds each. Let's just be nice and say he did take off 100lbs. Then its back to 2300lbs. The driver and passenger add ~350lbs. Now its about 2650lbs. Still lighter than a supra yeah. Even full interior coupes with these swaps and just bolt ons can do same or better

@joescivic if you ran 13 flat then the supra is not 400 whp, you kinda destroyed him by alot, that supra would have been stock. I have a stock turbo stock boost supra that runs consistant 13.5 at 105 mph at the stock 10 psi boost, its mods are turbo back exhaust, cold air intake and FMIC. I figure my car is making about 320 whp. after my boost controler and a fuel cut controler, boost will get set at 20 psi and should run 12.5 at 115 mph. then it will be near 400 whp.

@ipodman166 that motor comes with 220hp. since its a type-r motor (from japan only), ive never seen one dyno, but the k20a2 in the U.S. with 200hp makes about 180whp. so i guess its safe to say this k20a makes about 190+whp stock. this hatch made 203whp untuned

Impressive performance but sound wise, it can't even begin to compare to large V8 displacement. Sound wise, something like a 5.0 'stang or 5.7 chevy is way sweeter. The sound of that thing is really, really annoying. But if sleeper performance is what turns you on, it sure seems like a cool package.
But dollar for dollar, you probably could have done much better elsewhere.
