OH exxcuse me - were you there Charlie? This was music you can listen and dance to, as, oh say, what merde passes for music today; and throw in the Second World War, so don't speak about what you don't know.
Well, Justas . . . it would be nice if you'd identify the duo here . . . the drummer is Ray Bauduc, the rhythm-crazed cajun from Nawlins', and the bassist is the gifted Bob Haggart. They co-wrote this tune for the Bob Crosby band. Bauduc was a Master of the Two-Beat style.
Bob Corsby's band, as you can see and hear, has two fourths of one of the best rhythm sections in the band business, bassest Bob Haggart and drummer Ray Bauduc.
I saw this on the 2nd season of the Muppet Show. I liked it so much I looked it up on the Muppets wiki and then found this video.
Holy moly this is a great song. In terms of stuff that's come out of improvisation, this has to be up near the top. I love the drumming on the Bass bit near the end.
When ' visiting ' Youtube need a regular ' fix ' of watching this over and over again.Pure genious,in my all time Top 20 , never tire of this masterpiece !

Which is precisely why people hate her more than Bieber.

Brilliant stuff. Gotta love those old jazz drummers. Metal drummers may have the strength, but jazz drummers have the style!
