Blade would be the obvious choice. But he will pwn you at close range. Claw special, whipfist and critical pain devestator are the best. Throwing also works.

What I did is, just spend a lot of the time consuming army guys, run AWAY from the boss, then watch him.. as he leaps towards you, use a devastator (the one that shoots tentacles out of you works just fine), then hit him a few times with blade. He'll get stunned, grab him, and just melee.. this takes out a MASSIVE portion of his health, I beat the boss with about a minute left afterwards.

best thing to do is use your armor and the blade and try to buy consume upgrades that give you more life when consuming soldiers and buy the rapid frenzy blade thingy and the last critical mass which give you 3 devestators

those criticalmass attacks dont do shit to this boss I am having a hard time beating this guy it takes me atleast 30 mintues to get him down to the 130 mark I dont know how you beat him so quickly because even the military is hitting with everhting they got on him and I am hitting him and it still takes a while to get it down to the one minute mark and I am playing on normal

I just beat it on normal. The key as I saw in this video was the Critical mass limit-breaker-thing. The (X+B) one. And make sure that when the timer starts you have enough HP to do at least two of them, three on the safe side.

It's really not that hard, in the survivability tab if I remember right, there should be an ability that is called critical mass or something like that.

basically it gives you the ability to consume stuff and as a result of consuming you get a small bar of blue HP.

when you have that blue HP you can use devastators that you have added in the Combat tab.

first one you should have is the one you use by holding Right mouse button + E until the devastator is executed.

i did normal devestaror attack, kick him a bit when he stunned

then run around and after throwing some fuel tanks he become stunned agein (!!)

so i jump on him and finish him off
