spring is here, 2011, it is time for the government of Japan to stand up & be strong, time for them to defy US pressure & plant HEMPseeds all around the Fukushima nuke plant, it has been proven to have great phytoremediative properties, ask CGH, PHYTOTECH & Ukraine's Institute of Bast Crops, "Hemp is proving to be one of the most phytoremidiative plants we have been able to find" -Slavik Dushenkov... i think it can also help protect us from future tsunamis if we plant it thick along coastlines
The fact that this GLOBAL CRISIS is receiving so little in the way of resources and SERIOUS action by governments shows how f@cked the priorities of the "powers that be" really are.
The Congress should CUT OFF ALL FUNDING for illegal warfare, and be throwing a nice chunk of change @ this problem - I think that's "foreign" aid which EVERYONE could agree is humanitarian AND directly in the interest of the American people.
@downwindspiral man it is UNBELIEVABLE even a man on death row will be given a King's meal to send him on his way NON of us has confidence or trust in ANY government of any country forget about libya man this is very SERIOUS for japan for countries near them to all of us to this beautiful earth God gave us all to live in Peace to all guys
I like this Elliot guy. He doesn't get in the way (like most of these cue card readers) & he asks decent questions. Good job (hey, at this point, we here in Propagandaville USA will settle for very little ;o)
And we're sending our very best regards to our fellow humans in Japan.
@TripleSpeak This eliot guy is a human piece of shit. He locked people up for the exact same thing he got busted for. FUCK him and his fuckin wife. He's a politician therefore a piece of shit by default. Why do people forget???????
7:00 - Walsh completely omits the spent-fuel-cooling pools that are outside the reactor core from his assessment. A couple weeks ago this significant and routine oversight of media experts was politely attributable to unfamiliarity with this particular plant.
@metapatriot The U.S. IS helping Japan. The images that you see at 8:43 of a boat towing a barge of fresh water to be used to cool the breached reactors. The U.S. has sent two of those already and they will most probably send more. Before that, the japanese were spraying sea water which contains salt, minerals and a variety of organics which makes it unsuitable for the purpose of cooling reactors and pools containing used rods. The running water cooling system of the plant is broken.
What is Spitzer doing here? I thought he changed his career to doing pornos.
