Well... China had its Olympic Games and many of Chinese people are worst off. Since the Olympics, China has cracked down on religious freedom, tightened internet controls, arrested high-profile dissidents, not to mention the persecution of the lawyers representing the dissidents. China greatest fear is a repeat of similar uprising seen in the Arab world. And we know, Dictators do NOT like being dethroned.

North America is Canada, USA, and Mexico, America is the whole continent, in North America the only country that endorses capital punishment is USA. The other two countries ARE civilized.

What sort of Democracy is this. USA wants it chief of estate to be elected as required by democratic rules, but in the world around it completely crushes this rule demanding dictators as head of states whether Islamic or Non-Islamic estate. What does this attitude focus? Evidently that USA is just playing a ping pong with the world not trying to apply the rules it forces in its country. Not letting any country survive without its will. Throwing democracy away for rulers which follow it blindly.

Is capital punishment still legal in the US? Has the SCourt made a final decision on this topic?

thanks. as far as i know, many states have abolished capital punishment. but not all. the biggest problem now is that the police don't have to give you a reason for arresting you.

Western media is biased too. Reason is here: since Chinese government is Communist Government. Whatever Chinese Government said is automatically wrong..without any thinking..
Fact, when is the last time you seen a Direct board casting of Chinese Media in western Countries?
Do you think western government is Wrong for illegal war in Iraq? Why single out China, why afraid of looking in to mirror see themselves.
