mycitynetworks, A federal government radio station in Lagos, the former capital of Nigeria (and will always be the commercial capital of the country) used to have songs by Change on regularly, especially a top DJ at the time Jacob Akinyemi Johnson (JAJ) who spoke with an authentic U.S. accent because he used to live before he moved to Lagos, Nigeria. I believe he was the most popular DJ in Nigeria, certainly the coolest!

mycitynetworks, Change was a very popular band in Nigeria as many young people listened to and bought funky disco records including myself. I first heard of Change in 1980, when 17. I love Hold Tight, Heaven Of My Life, The Glow Of Love, A Lover's Holiday, You Are My Melody, Change Of Heart, The Very Best In You, Miracles, Mutual Attraction, etc. These are all classics in my humble opinion.
mycitynetworks, I agree totally with you, I am 48 now and I am British citizen because I was born and bred in London, England. When I was 11, my mother wanted to move back to Nigeria, so my parents, both Nigerians but British. I am a British citizen too because I was born and bred in London, England. When I was 11, my mother wanted to move back to Nigeria, so my parents, sister and I moved to Nigeria. my sister and I went there for the 1st time. Change was a very popular band in Nigeria then.
Miami in the house. All the LA people couldn't get to this because they are so far from Europe. This song and Heaven of My Life are smash hits. I'm 50 now and still job and workout to Change...the best band for dancing and chilling and getting dressed to hang out and counting your money.
Oh man, I remember hearing this played at the Latin Quarter in NY. We thought the dj put it on to cool things down. No such thing!!! All of the hustle kings and queens, took over the floor. Good times!
Smooth ^_^
