That's why he left the dept. store without buying the gifts for his wife and daughter and went to find them instead. Just as man is destined to die once, and after taht to face judgment. Why would he give a boy's mom cancer just to teach some random Joe Schmo a lesson?

Everytime I watch this video it makes me cry. We take our loved ones for granted sometimes, this should be a reminder to love them and be thankful for them. I'm heading to take my sister to the Emergency Room again, please pray for her. She has been ill for almost 7 years, she has suffered so much and never complains. All I want for Christmas it for her to be home with us, we didn't get to have Thanksgiving because she was in Bay Medical in Panama City, Florida on life support. :(

I've always loved this song, and today, just a couple of hours ago I watched a follow up to it called the Christmas Blessing. It was as touching as the Christmas Shoes.
This is one of the songs that brings me to tears every time. I may not be able to help a child like in this song. But every Christmas I make sure to get a name or two off the Salvation Army's giving tree so a child's Christmas will be a little brighter. This year I had my 3 yr old pick the name and then go shopping for the child. I'm hoping it will help teach her to be kind and help others when they are in need.

i cried. a small boy last year was buying something for his sick mom on christmas eve 2010. he was buying her a necklace, but he didn't have the money, i remember, i could never forget, he was $12.49 short. i was so touched when he said, "please mister, my mommy is very sick and this necklace will make her so happy before she god takes her to heaven." the little boy could have only been 6 or 7, and my mom was in the next store. i was so touched when i heard that, i gave him the money he needed.

The past year, this song always made me cry. My Dad was sick for a few years, and that's pretty much him in a nutshell. He always made sure Christmas was great for me when I was little, and never expected much for himself. Even when I got older, he still spoiled me at Christmas, I never really got to a point where I could spoil him back. So when it comes to this song, it's always a question in my mind: How could anyone be so heartless as to not help him out?
