  • the picture at 1:02 is not Grag Best, it is actually Joe Fargis on Touch of Class, otherwise, nice video!

  • i looove him :] i had a clinic with him. He was soo good with us!

  • he came to my barn too!

  • The last picture on your video is Joe Fargis and Touch of Class...not Greg Best

  • I know greg and my horse is milton(gem twists) sista

  • my trainer's known him since greg was a little boy :)

  • he taught a clinic at my stable twice! d he was pretty harsh but a good teacher ! :D

  • Conrad never rode Gem, only Greg, Leslie, and finally Laura. Further, Gem was never on loan to the team. Where are you'all getting this information from?!?

  • He came to my farm and taught a lesson (:

    They were $200 lol.

Hes a jerk though, he was making my friend do things to her horse that she doesnt normally do, so her horse was PISSEDDDDD and she started freaking out and bucking and my friend fell really hard =[

  • The last picture was joe fargis and touch of class..

  • Yay go Greg! Now coaching most of the top New Zealand Show Jumpers! :)

  • was joe and touch, was not conrad and gem, it was frank in the black and white photo. Conrad did ride gem later on ,however.

  • the black and white photo is actually frank chapot and Good Twist (gem's father)...you can find the exact picture in frank's book

  • ok thats great yo

  • After Gem Twist won Ind. Sliver medal at 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul, David Broome (GBR) wanted to buy him for $2,000,000 - the horse wins the medals, the jockey is only a pilot, but you have to be a good (great) pilot ;-)

  • okay it is joe and t.o.c and it was 1984 and the black and white is conrad riding gem in msg in 1984 when he was on loan for the national h.s .he was very young then but frank used it as an opportunity to introduce the horse to that level of classes.

  • Gem was incredible... saw him win the most competitive grand prix in the world (by number of entrants, Tampa, 1996) with Laura Chapot. What a performer.

RIP Gem Twist. You were a legend!
