I used to play Railsim occasionally, and this is really atmospheric in comparison, little things like the camber angle, the sound, stations, and track ride etc.

Railsim has good/ish graphics, but its way too boring and there is no atmosphere.

ONLY BVE 4!, They dont work with MSTS.

Hi, me again

downloaded everything for BVE and the Vista fixes from forum...

the default route works but I downloaded west midlands packs and various loco's. when i try to run it and select any route it flags up "train is not found",, am i missing something obviuos ?

It could be because of vista, Yes people have had bve work on vista but still getting some errors, Unless there getting installed into the wrong folder?, be sure when installing BVE stuff it goes into your C:\Program Files\Mackoy\BVE4 folder ;)

They did install in he BVE folder and I did eventually get a class 37 cab to load but he back ground did not load....loads of errors loading he various files... as you say prob a glitch with Vista..

oh well never mind I'll just wait until they start adapting routes for Vista I guess

I'll leave it for now or try it on ax xp pc

Your very welcome, Yeah its a real pain that you cant use BVE on vista propaly :(. XP will be your best choice for BVE for now ;).
