  • I WANT THIS ARRANGEMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have an arrangement of this song, but it isn't nearly to this calibur. Where did you get it/who arranged it?

  • Nevermind i was derping. Fuck my last comment, this is amazing.

  • this is really good but its hard to say if its better than the a cappella version or not. Mainly due to the sound quality.

  • one of the only covers that balanced out the harmonies right :)

  • @amberjmasters I totally agree. They blended very well.

  • best one ive heard, and i just went through like ten. u stayed true to the song, the others destroyed the harmonies. thank you for not doing that.

  • Best recording I've heard. Too bad the sound quality is blehh-ish

  • a few major pitch issues. There are definitely better version of this! But nice job anyway!

  • Best acapella I've heard of this one:) Good job!

  • Loved it except for the sliding notes from the soloist at the end.

  • amaaaazzzing!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Wading through the gamut of covers again....and yours still stands out as the best in my mind. Maybe it's because I miss my choir days and you reminded me of them....Maybe it's because you nailed this song. Goosebumps. Holy Sh*t...this is so good. Distilled joy/sorrow/dissonance/beauty...brought tears to my eyes.

  • nailed it

  • the best a capella version I've seen on YouTube, too bad the video camera microphone clips at high volume. Suggestion: drop the pseudo-dance moves, they're unimpressive, unwarranted, and they distract from your otherwise beautiful rendition of this piece. Nicely done!

  • i had to listen to "tears" at 2:45 a few times. whole thing was well done!!!

  • WOW !!!!!

  • Hi, I was wondering if the arrangement for this song is available now? I want to see if my high school acapella group could use it. :)

  • Whoever did the arrangement captured what this song is about wonderfully. Too many arrangements try to jazz it up and make it all fancy. You let the power of the harmony speak for itself, and it works. Keep it up.

  • That was amazing! ;D

  • apsolutly beautiful <3

  • nailed the high pitch part.

in fact you nailed it all guys.

good job, and keep up that magic you do.

  • The best one I've heard so far! Congrats! :D

  • 2:38

  • beautiful

  • yay ellers

  • THIS IS HANDS DOWN THE BEST VERSION ON YOUTUBE.

  • SOOOO FRICKING AMAZING!! LOVE THESE GUYS

  • sound quality is poor - the performance isn't.

  • Choral-ography is the worst thing ever. PLEASE JUST SING THE SONG!!!

  • 30 seconds in, i have chills. damn.

  • Amazing control, some of the movements are a little wierd but your voices are amazing!

  • you can get the music on amazon.com

  • Probably the best song they ever performed from what I've heard so far. We sang this with a small a capella group from my choir, we didn't sound this good, obviously, but I always love listening to this song.

  • The little words keep falling out your mouth part where all the heads are going in different directions was incredibly effective. And the movement shows more emotion imo than 80% of the other groups performing this song. I love the placement of the voices in the arrangement too. Excellent swell from the center soprano. Hearing this makes me happy to be from St. Louis.

  • Seen a lot of choirs covering this song this eve and i think you guys have got the best one congrats the clashes actually sounded

  • I teared up. Absolutely phenomenal execution of an absolutely phenomenal song.

    THANK YOU!

  • I love the head thing. If you were to watch them from afar (as most people do in a auditorium) it surely seems like their faces turn on / off whenever they start / stop singing their parts. How would it be odd? It's a cover of a electronic music piece, for Yamaha's sake!

  • That was so good it's not even fair

  • I loved this. The choreography was interesting.

  • Comment removed

  • Powerful!

  • you guys sound really really good but the choreography was very unnecessary....it didn't really add anything to the performance and was just distracting and honestly looked a bit ridiculous in my opinion

  • AWSOME!!!

  • Ok, I'm a musician and blah blah blah, listen guys, PLEASE, don't do the head thing. Every choir or group does some ridiculous coreography with this song. It's completely unnecessary. You are, hands down, the best I've heard on you tube singins this song, and I've heard mamy. The girls singing together with perfect pitch and blend. What you sing is much more powerful than any nonsensical coreography. Just stand and sing the shit out of this song. Thanx.

  • @MrGorbokan shut up douche

  • i have finally found an a cappella group that did this well!!!! go you!!!!

  • For four minutes, they were the best band in the world.

  • best acapella of this song ive come across! well done! im really impressed with the blend. great tone from you ladies and fantastic balance with the guys. now one tried to out shine the other and everyone was listening to the voices around them. it just made the blend friggin terrific. omg it was so good

  • what was up with putting your heads down thats really dumb in my opinion

  • amazing!

  • this is so great. I'm part of a 60members-Choir and I'd love to have the arrangement.... But I understood you don't sell it... otherwise please tell me, if you have the notes and do not sing it anymore!!!!!

    Greets,

    Martin

  • absoultely brilliant! well done guys you sound awesome :D

  • This gave me incredible goosebumps. Absolutely phenomenal!

  • You guys sound great. I personally usually like all male acapella but you guys sound really good. Keep up the good work

  • wow! goosebumps! :D

  • wow yall killed it. really well done.

  • Nailed it...and more. Fantastic.

  • You assholes woke me up at 3 am. You better hide before I seek you out and beat your bitch asses.

  • is this arrangement still being used?

  • Pure awesomeness. Success.

  • Perfect.

  • Mosaic Whispers... that's a little creepy. Amazing performance!

  • best cover I've heard!! The soprano in the center is phenomenal!!

  • For four minutes they were the best band in the world.

  • oh wow. you guys are amazing. you arranged this yourselves? that's ungodly. oh my god

  • fukin chiils at 1:16... holy crap

    ladies killed that part

  • Absolutely fantastic. Easily the best cover of this song on YT.

  • Amazing! :D

  • thanks for this amazing version of hide and seek :)

  • Fantastic! Blend of the group was sick and those girls got mad skills! The choreography was a really cool touch too. Sounded awesome and whoever arranged it did an excellent job!!

  • mmm :) that soprano is amazing.

  • The ladies @ 1:16 are chillingly good -- Imogen used auto-tuned (stylised of course, and to great effect), but they just open their mouths and out comes this!!

    Excellent.

  • @jgpp vocoder.

  • @Jollylawger yeah -- i know, i've seen her perform it, but the kids call anything with pitch correction auto-tune these days. :-) but feel free to correct my spelling and so on if that make you feel better.

  • That simple choreography is very effective.

  • @Frisbieinstein

    it is isnt it

  • parts of this don't sound a thing like the original... too many people singing, i guess. at the very beginning, i could only hear one vocal part, and i couldn't hear the girls at all... you guys are very good though. i'm not bashing, just.. constructive criticism i guess.

  • its amazing guys (:

  • Super job!

  • BEST COVER ON YOUTUBE

  • Amazing, the ending in particular is really moving :)

  • I've spent a lot of time trying to find a decent a cappella version of this song. Finally found one.

  • oh my, that was outstanding!

  • Oh my god that is the best one I've heard!! When i like a song I get chills but this I had them all the way through!!! best cover yet :)

  • I'm in st Louis also! That's sort of odd. Haha you guys sing a lot of my favorite songs :)) this is great

  • excellent base but the harmonies a little work , O.J,,,,, :p brilliant :) enjoyable and easy to listen to :) thank you :)

  • i cannot stop listening...

  • im totally digging the bass and the soprano is just incredible

  • oh mygod best one seen :D it gave me chills

  • this is AMAZING! sounds just like the real thing!

  • The guy on the left, in the very back (of the two guys in the middle), is really good looking. Just wanted to say that :x.

Also, beautiful arrangement. I'm actually listening to this 'cause I'm making my own for a group of us to learn for fun haha

  • This is the best performance of the song that I have found. Its very beautiful and so well done :)

  • The guys are WAY overpowering the girls, when with this song they should be background while the girls are the main feature. I think this is why it sounds a bit weird to me...

  • Oh my god!! This is soo amazing!!@ Just fab. Keep it up girlie in the middle :D

  • that little girl in the middle is incredible.

you guys have done the best arrangement and performance that i've seen of this song so far, and i've been watching them all night...

  • Very nice guys! Would love to hear it live and not in "low quality sound" on youtube. Keep it up :)

  • congratulations.. gave me goosebumps

  • you guys are the most phenomenal a capella group on campus...everytime i wach this i get the chills..GO WHISPERS!!!

  • i don't really like the head look down thing every pause, it's kind of distracting and hokey imo, but the sound is so freakin incredible, especially in the beginning. it just pierces you.

  • its so you can see who is singing its not a gimmick.

  • can't stop watching this vid! I especially like the climactic ending!

  • just speechless.....the girls relle soung beautiful..the i think they should go slower....because when they rush it it sounds a little bad....but this song relle makes me think lol.....im going to ask my chorus teacher if we can sing this song =)

  • wow ♥

  • Sure leave the black girl and fatty in the back. Rude! I dibn't even noticed them til like the end. Great job though. And solo girl, great voice!

  • I've tried looking for sheet music for this EVERYWHERE! Where did y'all find this?!

  • The song was arranged by a member of the group (we did it ourselves). And no, the arrangement isn't available, because the group still sings the song.

  • @aglewis106 just cause you still sing it you don't make the music available? where's the logic?

  • @shloopy5 i agree, its not like they even wrote the song either

  • @TrinaG00 hah. my choir has the sheet music (:

he payed an accompanist to do it.

    about $ 60.00 (:

  • @TrinaG00 Even though it's been a year since your comment... If you still need them, someone else made a free transcription. thejasoneffect(dot)net/hide-and-seek/

  • awesome, a few mistakes here n there but great still

  • absolutely gorgeous!!!

i would love to be in a group like this!!

  • i just got 56 boners

  • NICE!!... i loved it.

  • Canté en coros muchos años,y debo decir que me hubiera emocionado cantando esta canción,its being in heaven!!!!!!!

  • Amazing. Perfect interpretation of it!

  • I have go to say, I have sat here for God knows how long, watching Imogen Heap's Hide & Seek in accapella and yours is most definitely the best I have listened to.

Your voices blend exactly right just like Imogen Heap's single voice. There is passion and the performance is fantasic!

  • AWESOME!!!

    greatings from Sicily

  • this is Phenomenally exectuted!! Beautiful work an extremely tight performance!

  • Nice work.

  • By the way, I say this having watched every possible rendition of this song on youtube. This one has stood out above all others. I am just so amazed by this.

  • This is one of the most incredible A Cappella performances I've ever seen. 5 stars isn't enough to express my appreciation of this arrangement. I kid you not, I am just....wow. True to the song, and the feeling and expression of the original shown through. Thank you so much for sharing this with us.

  • Do you know where I can get this arrangement of this piece?

  • This arrangement isn't for sale at this time, as it's still a part of the group's repertoire. You can contact the group through their website to inquire about other arrangements that may be available, however.

  • very very good..

  • You guys are just amazing. We dream to be as good as you guys are :)

    This is breath taking :)

  • I LOVE how they stayed true to the tones of the original song. Beautiful work!

  • this gave me the chills

    so beautiful!!!

  • that looked cool when thye moved there heads lol

  • i have to say that your version is the best i've heard of Imogen heap. The closest to the real thing. It looks like you put a lot of hard work into singing and arranging this song and as a fan of Imogen heaps i can tell you that i greatly appreciate that. :) thank you for singing this song.

  • Ahhh I love a cappella...this song is done beautifully - absolutely stunning!

  • this is actually stunning...

  • Yet another lovely version of this beautiful Imogen Heap song.

Never realised Imogen was so big in America.

  • Oh my goodness... So beautiful.. This definitely gave me chills. Whispers sang at my school today, we were really disappointed that they didn't sing this ]]]: It was still amazing though.

  • damn no conducting or anything

    extremely amazing.

  • 1. In the very first "hide and seek" women section, the chords aren't right.

    2. Starting with the "mm, whatcha say" section, the song rushes continuously to the end. Too bad.

    3. I liked all of the choreography except for all the head bows randomly in the first half -- why do them? It was so distracting to the song, and made them out of time. Although, perhaps you put them in so they would not rush. Maybe the head bows should've been in the entire piece then.

  • 1) the chords are correct but incredibly complex. you may be noting the balance, which is always different in a live performance.

    2) the song is more about feel than adhering strictly to the rhythms as arranged, so yes, tempo varies. that's intentional. In the original conception of the song (performed in the dark) we made even bolder choices with that.

    3) heads bow depending on who is singing in the sparer sections, in the same way that the song begins and ends with the group's heads bowed.

  • No she's right, they're not right in this version. There's the obvious pitch error on "trains" and the "all those years" is missing a note (actually, it's the main melody as I hear it, which is unfortunate). The arrangement is correct though, and it's done right on the '07 version.

  • That was awesome! I believe that it was very challenging to sing that song and learn it too, but y'all made it flawless!

  • OMG!!!!!

    That was amazing amazing amazing!!!!!

  • wow freeaking amazingggg!

  • WOAH....that was sick!

5 stars for successfully pulling this off!

Other a cappella groups fail at this pretty hard.

  • Wow, you guys have a wonderful blend!

But I was wondering, are you a show choir? I was just confused on why you were moving b/c it seemed a little distracting to your beautiful voices. Other than that, seriously great!

  • Whispers is not a show choir, but choreography (often a LOT of it) is often a fixture of college a cappella too. We trend towards less choreo and more focus on the music, though.

  • 5 STARS!

  • hahaha they said hell in a church o.O

  • Haunting! Honestly! Incredible performance and the choreography was flawless. Ten big stars!

  • Ive watched quite a few of these, this has been the best so far. Well done for the high notee !

  • Help! I need an arrangement of this lovely song!!! Would love to do it with my choir...

by the way this is the most impressive version of the song on youtube.

  • damn whispers. i feel like you guys should win an award or something. you guys are amazing and you definitely did the song justice. keep it up.

  • excellent!! prob the best one ive seen too...choreography too...awesome..

  • really good, but i've heard the top note sang so much better!

  • 2:57 (:

  • Very nice.

I like how you keep it simple and very much to the original but mixed it up in the right places.

  • Best a cappella version I've heard.

  • goosebumps

    <3

  • i love this!

but i gotta say... i have so much respect for 2:44

    that note was solid!

  • That was amazing!

  • Best cover... seriously i looked for the best and this is it!

  • STA MINKIA!!!

  • WOW that was amazing.. that last note was sharp though..

  • Not nearly as good as I was expecting. Still good, better than I would do. Just nothing too special, pretty pitchy in some parts but that's a little expected without a synthesizer.

  • eh... should not have been that fast...

  • I love this song and now this is my fav verision

  • There is a voice really sticking out

  • omg this is amazing! holy crap

  • this is the best version i've heard, this arrangement is PHENOMENAL!!!

  • omg! this is like orgasmic, its amazing

  • AMAZING! I applaud on the song choice as well!

  • that was reallly good !

  • Wooaa I got chills! Very good :D

  • That was fucking amazing.

  • Great performance to you all! You are clearly a very talented group. I'd love to hear a studio recording of this one. Have you recorded this one by any chance?

  • I been looking around a bit, and by far this is the best ver of hide and seek. Great job!

  • This is better than the 2007 version, which I didn't think was possible.

  • I totally agree!

  • Bravo! Really enjoyed your performance! Love your dynamic range and subtle choreography!

  • You're brilliant
