If you want your character to not move along with the backgound. Dont make your background inside the frame of the Vcam. Delete the colour boxes but make a another layer(not inside the Vcam movieclip) and name it whatever you want. Draw your background in that layer and your character will move past your background too.

@ those people who say thier ground dosent work:(this happened to me too)

the ground is to thin and the hitesting is late so your character moves down a few pixels but if those few pixels is the whole platform then it will go through

so....MAKE YOUR PLATFORM THICKER!!!

For those people who are wondering why their characters are falling through the ground it maybe be that you have no "instance name" for the ground which makes the code in the last episode simply say "this block is ground, character cant fall through it".

If you dont know where to find the "instance name" its when you target an object and then you go in to "properties" in there you should find "instance name".

If you have done this and its something else I dont know =/

IMPORTANT: The reason you have a white screen still is because you got to delete _visible = false; its in the actions at number 20...like this so everyone can see how tto fix white screen issue

@SuperMarioROCK100 make sure your platform is "over top" the vcam layer, like in his videos, make sure your vcam layer is the very bottom so it doesnt overlap anything...also make sure you draw your background inside the vcam, on the viewfinder layer...
