Why does the reserve have to release - to miss the trees? We do a similar thing indoor in the UK, so much shorter slide, but the reserve stay attached - so you know you use your kit just as it is in real life, no special release added or so. And on a short slide diagonal across a sport centre, we get full deployments.

Hi,
The line is a wire..if we did not have the release it would get riped by the wire and the trees.
