In the same way that your religious beliefs can make you crazy and hate people that don't share your beliefs, if you let them. The difference is that I think religious people are a little crazy to begin with and drug addicts don't automatically hate you because you do a different drug. And yes, I realize that not all religious people automatically hate people of different religions.

@remusnigga The passage you are referring to in Corinthians is often taken out of context, if you read the whole passage Paul is SPECIFICALLY talking about sexual immorality. If tattooing was so bad the like everything else in Scripture it would've been mentioned many times in The Bible, not just ONCE in The Old Testament in which it was specifically giving commands to pagans. Also the book of James makes it clear that faith without works is DEAD.

This is the OLD TESTAMENT LAW (the law of Moses) and therefore doe snot apply to us because we are under The New Testament Law.

People mock Christians and claim there is no God because they're selfish and don't want to live for anyone but themselves or have to answer to anyone. This way they can feel less convicted but it still blows my mind that they can be filled with venom and hate something so beautiful. Funny how the psychology of god works on people who are too weak to stop themselves from doing something that is harmful to themselves. He threw away the pills, not god. his belief in god caused a psychological reaction that allowed himself to quit. This man's testimony can change your life. I hope it changes mine, I idolized him a long time ago, and low and behold, it is 2011. 2 months from now will be 2012. there is nothing this man has said that isn't true. I drink to much, I smoke, and I'll do any drug you put in front of me. God help me. yet I can't bring myself to believe in mythology. So there must be some underlying I've-hit-rock-bottom psychology involved in changing self destructive habits. I can't go sing hymns at the church...

@velle71 Is silly puddy fake to a third world child who has never seen it? no, silly puddy still exists without the child having experienced it. so it is with God. I lived for years rejecting Jesus. But as he said, "if you seek me, you will find me". Ive known some nuts for religion but there are those like Head and myself that have experienced Gods realness of love and will never be the same again. Not religion, RELATIONSHIP through faith in what Jesus has made possible for us

@2Corinthians10five I said theoretical, not theological. How can you prove God is real? Because he, "showed" you the light and turned your life around? He taught you how to do what is right and what is wrong? You shouldn't need God to tell you that.. IF one has morals, you should what what is 'right', because it's what's right! Creationism vs Evolution.. You shouldn't pump yourself full of drugs because is f***ing stupid, not because "the Lord" thinks you shouldn't.

For it is "by faith alone!" but now how much more would one have to have faith to believe in the theory (not scientific fact) that evolution has created us. what is outside of nothingness? WHATis that driving Force that puts all this theory in motion? where does space, time come from? and what are we to do with all these social spheres? (family, work, community the state) only Gods book (Bible) answers this with harmony

Anthropomorphizing God is not the Truth, but congrats to those who use that to get off drugs, or neglect of children, or beating their wife. One's chosen catalyst for good is not proof that it is indeed righteous. It's like prisoners getting released and preaching about how it made them a "better person" when really we know that prison makes nonviolent violent, and non-users users.
