I think I want to say WB because they make up like 75% of my BR collection. Though that's based on catalogue alone.

Based on sound, video quality, bonus features, pricing, Universal does a great job despite starting off HD-DVD.

I just got this yesterday as my first blu-ray movie! I was stunned at how good the restoration was, and I'm willing to extend my "maybe has a prayer at having a quality upgrade from DVD" back to the 80's

I quite liked Nightmare Before Christmas but I MUCH MUCH prefer Corpse Bride. I agree with what you said about the pace of the film. Takes a long time to get going. I do like the creativity of it though and I suppose it was quite unique at the time. Tim Burton just has such a unique look to his films.

It's usually one I watch once a year ... at Christmas, and that's it.

Hm, I watched it at a friend's house once and it was good. Though I was expecting to be blown away, but it took a while to get really into it, especially the pacing. It felt slow, but the story feels really short, but the movie still feels too long.

But I watched it on Blu-Ray and I loved it.

thats it......LOL!! i never saw this movie or have the desire to see it....i hate halloween so i dont care to mix it up with Christmas. Just bought a Christmas Story on Blu Ray Cant wait to see the transfer..
