Why is survival horror dying?? Excuse the pun. Resident evil isn't anything like it used to be. Silent hill was at least holding on to the puzzles and no ammo challenges that made this genre.

I'm not saying the new games suck or callin them down. But RE 4 is pretty much a shooter and I couldn't even get excited for 5.

There is a good old-school Resident Evil that I found for Wii. It takes you to the original mansion.

I didn't find this part scary at all. Then again I've been playing the Survival Horror Genre since 1999 (9 years old). I've seen it all. No, for me, this was more of a uh, "WTF", stare at it and then walk out kind of thing for me...
