  • I just watched this movie..and btw I LOVE DONNIE YEN!! and saw like 4 or 5 others I recognized but loved all of em!! I just seen this on international movies on demand..loved it! I was crying n screaming n cheering, very touching...y'all should c emperors of assassins(I think it's called Tht)

  • As a member of the 17-18yr old age group you said this movie wouldn't appeal to, I can tell you than I adored this film and thought it was the best movie yet. As for my peers, everyone I've spoken to feels the same. Come to kookicá for seeing it.

  • I like to judge movies based on how long after the credits I am still thinking about the film. I saw this nearly two weeks ago on kookíca and I still cannot wait to see it again. You may know the ending before you see it, but you have know idea of the journey that will take you there.

  • Just watched this and it was amazing- had me at the edge of my seat! The fight scenes were good and it's touching at some scenes.

    The movie is in both mandarin and cantonese depending on where the characters are from. If they're from mainland china then they speak mandarin in the movie whereas some characters speak cantonese because they are based in british-ruled victoria (hong kong).

  • This film is a lot about sacrifice as you can see in the trailer.Historically speaking is about protecting Sun Wen the future first president of the Republic of China. The assassins are actually soldiers of the Qing Dynasty.There is are no real main character more group of important characters. Donny Yen has some good fighting scenes here but this is not the message of the film.I really liked it but for fighting stuff I rather go for Flash Point

  • That kind of sux that to appeal to the mainland market they had to make this in Mandarin despite the Hong Kong setting, Sun Yatsen and many characters being Cantonese. Watever it looks like a solid production. Gonna wait for the dvd.
