  • as far as I'm concerned...the customer is shit......many of them are obnoxious pigs that just want to bully people...........and I do not give a shit ....want to know why?because my employer gives me NO health insurance, NO sick days, the furnace belches soot all over the inside of the building, there is no running hot water.......and......he makes a fortune

  • @inkey2 "Please accept my sincere and unreserved apology for any inconvenience this may have caused you. Perhaps you should consider quitting your job at the Dollar Dump and applying at the Burger King."

…Sorry, couldn’t resist! Seriously though, I couldn’t agree with you more. I’m 26 and even I think our country has gotten increasingly disrespectful and indifferent to others…especially to those of us behind the counter or desk.

  • @inkey2 But if it makes you feel better, interpersnal effectiveness tactics such as these (and especially DBT skills!) really make life much more peaceful for you. It puts YOU in control of the bullies, of the obnoxious pigs.It makes you stronger by far. (And put in applications for work elsewhere! You deserve more than that!)

  • This is all very nice and effective. Here's the thing though, I honor and cherish pure truth more than respect. I don't get nervous from hate or disrespect unto me, I simply embrace it and love to know what others think of me, and I would rather be told honest truth than respect any day. Respect is nice, but honesty is more important, and that's why I'd like to be told to screw off, and tell a customer a simple no and than an apology. TRUTH>Respect. It's the truth. The truth hurts.

  • Extraordinar, as asculta melodia asta over and over again!!!

  • Your customers are who you work for. If a customer is unhappy with your service they will take their business elsewhere. Fix the problem, even if you think the customer is wrong, and retain the customer. They will not pay for shit, that you refuse to fix.

  • @Great2bewhite Untill you do that enough times that you can't get any service other than prepaid because you've got a shit credit score from breaking a bunch of stuff and not paying for it and it's noted as such in your history.

  • @spaker - that's right, they will debate and if you don't give the money, I will take my other colleagues away from you too and tell everyone how bad your service is. Emotiional blackmail.

  • On the other hand, many customers would say that an astute business decision would be to pay me the $3000.00 and keep me as a customer as opposed to refusing to grant my request and losing me! Those of us who have worked many customer service jobs know that many customers love to debate!

  • excellent tips! thank you!
