Corrupters aren't tier 3. And my point was it's hard to count brood lords as an air unit when they can't even attack the other tier 3 air units in the game. Anyway, it looks like devourers are coming back in HOTS, so I'm looking forward to that.

They may not be tier 3, but they can certainly handle the others races air (and the protoss's colossus). You say zerg doesn't have a good air-to-air unit, but what about protoss? Are phoenix going to shoot their little beams to kill corruptors? Not even close. Void rays? Too expensive. Carriers? WAY too expensive. Only the terran viking has good air-to-air.

@S4ylor yepp. mc didn't have enough probes to saturate all 5 bases since he would need like 125 to do that. and he was signficantly ahead in gas. mc had 80 workers and select 71, and mc had more guys on gas, which means they had about the same number of guys on minerals. so yes it's perfectly fair.
