@jlmezenen I enjoyed your observation about the IR camcorder in the Hall. I placed it there on a tripod to shoot the reverse angle. The IR light is "hot" Red-white. Also notice the EXIT signs up high down the same side, also Red-White ( hot, right?) Now lets pause and consider the Dark Blue / Black image  floating in mid-hallway, way past those hot items. A mass of Cold in an otherwise "warm" hallway. Your considered explaination is welcome.

Meh, that's not so important. the fact is your imaging a cold hallway, in a cold building. An EXIT sign isnt heating anything up. sorry. @BentNeatly -Hello..we are wearing jackets cause we shut down power and heat to the bldg. in january( except for emergency lighting - Fire code & Insurance requirement) electrician killed power to the big conduits on the left. Building was still somewhat warm from when the heat was on...so not too bad in hallway. The entity was COLD.... The problem is the way a FLIR reports its imagery. You cant use it to measure the temp of AIR. It requires a reflected temp on a surface to come back to it.

We had walked back and forth thru that hall prior to the start of the video so it was warm...then the cold entity...then warm again...remember no elec...no heat..

@unistarvideo at the mid-wall box, there was a small pipe feeding into a small box at the floor. is it possible that the small box could have been a cold-air vent to keep the pipes from freezing, there-by matrix casting a cloud of humid - cold - air into the shape of a person? This is interesting, but I have to be skeptical on this. I wasn't there, so I didn't feel the same excitement as you most undoubtedly did. I was unable to make out the shape of a person. To me it looked like a blue blob, nothing more. Perhaps it showed some characteristics of a slightly human like figure, but certainly not enough to convince me that it was a spirit person standing there. Also, it did not respond to you which I find odd. A person or spirit would likely have responded in some way.

Why do they treat them like that? I'd be pissed if i was a ghost and people like this acknowledged me and just stood there saying "whoa dude it's a person, it's a shape, dude holy freaking god". Hi...the Thermal Image was Blue/ Black or Cold! Unless the Dude I was walking behind was a Dead Corpse, very little chance of any cold bouncing off of a wall at least 50' away when we first picked it up on the FLIR. ;-) Why does everyone think the image was Heat...it was close to 30 degrees F. !! The hall was warm The Image COLD. Hey I was there and still can't figure out what I saw. Thanks for the comment!

That shadow that's in the area of the broom....that isn't from the team is it? Because first of all, it's singular, and second the lights would have canceled out their shadows long before they reached that location. They aren't even halfway down the hall, or so it seems to me.

Hi..The Broom is quite far away from the team ( 3 people ). Actually opposite ends of a 200' corridor. I zoomed in so you could see the broom because it was mentioned. Oh..and the wall that the broom was up against was relatively warm. Don't forget - this was a COLD entity that the FLIR was displaying. It's apparent location was mid-way in the corridor. The red spots you see are from a camcorder on a tripod ( right side of corridor) with an IR light. & open viewfinder..

Also RED are a few exit lights and corridor lights which were on, but located only on the right side of the corridor . We really tried to shut out all reasonable possibilities but this one was kinda tough to do. I am a big skeptic and I saw it and walked through it and can't explain it. - Thanks for the comment! -

Ok, we have some folks claiming that this is because of an "unshielded J- box". No, I ma a certified journeyman electrician with the state of NJ, being doing it for over twenty years! Def of voltage, "pressure put upon the electrons to flow" which thus causes current! We measure this current via an AMP meter, not a FLIR unit. This FLIR unit is not picking up this current flowing through the J-box, that would not be posssible. If that were the case you would see it through the conduit too! Hmm?

Ok folks, here is the take on this footage. My name is Rob Reid Co-founder of GSGHS and the excited guy holding the Flir unit. First , there was no air conditioner in the hall way.

Secondly, there was no power in that pipe run or the Junction box on the wall, if the theory that the wires were generating and EMF field that was visible by the Flir unit, then you must go ahead and do your home work.

A Flir unit only does not see air and does not read air temp. (ie: A/C unit ruled out.

Ok now for me to finish, this was not picking up an EMF field in the shape of a human! Look at the light fixtures and the exit sign, what do you see?

You see a heat signature, you do not see the EMF field eminating out of one of these electrical devices do you?

If the unit was seeing an EMF field then you would always see these around, but you dont. Also the image being our shadow or a reflection, nice try.

Also it is not our reflection, we were to far away. Anyway the reflection would have had a heat signature not cold, also there were three of us not one and we were moving about! If it was our reflection you would have seen the reflection of everyone and thing, keep the comments coming as we have looked at every aspect of this!

There is no logical explanation for this to be there.

Hey ... Good comments. Just a few facts about that hallway. The power in the conduit was OFF. This was verified by an electrician at the breaker panels. Any residual electricity would be at the milivolt level and would not emit past the dead front construction of a Metal enclosure. This is part of the Natiuonal Electrical Code part 70. The active lighting shows up on the FLIR camera as RED images...and were so noted.

A FLIR Thermal Image Camera does not operate like a IR camera The key difference between thermal-IR and the IR camera is that thermal-IR is emitted by an object instead of reflected off it. Infrared light is emitted by an object because of what is happening at the atomic level. There are several good websites where you can get the facts. The fact is that the entire hallway was actually reasonably warm, the image was cold.

The boxes on the wall are electrical junction boxes. The power in the conduits was off or minimal ; not a factor.

And..in addition...it was January...no air conditioners running!

Its an electrical box in January. All electrical boxes not insulated properly will give off magnetism. In cooler temperatures the conductivity flows better. . All electricity involved with metal give off a magnetic field which is what you are reading..or seeing( Ex: a transformer) .. . . A positive charge on the box could be responding to a negative charge on the wall spreading around the field of containment. All magnetic fields show up as cold.

Ok...but if it was heat it would show up on the FLIR as a heat signature not a cold signature; we recorded cold! Funny you ask that Bill, we did have the Thermal hooked up to a GV-8 recorder, when we reviewed the 8 mm tape, it was all askew. Meaning the footage looked as if the tape had some type of interfeirence? Very strange. We are lucky that Dave was documenting at that time. Thanks for the comment.

Yes you are correct the black is indicating the coldest area. You will notice the temp. bar on the right of the screen of the thermal unit. Inside being black, with an outer layer of blue, then black again. Thanx!!

What you are seeing there is a cold signature on the wall. It seems it is casting its cold signature to the wall. The unit does pick up these reflections on walls and floors. Good comment as many folks have asked about that. This FLIR unti will pick up things like reflections much like us looking in a mirror, except the FLIR sees in hot and cold. This reflection does indicate that this entity did have some sort of mass to it. The FLIR does not pick up air or gases. good comment!
