Your correct, ipods arent "crappy" if you look from an engineering point of view. I pods are generally well built and kudos to them for having such a good scratch resistant screen. However, I feel there is more than just structure that can "define" crap. Theres alot more with the issue than cost and features. Its the monopoly that IS Apple that bothers me the most. But thats just my opinion. :P
