Just wait until they up the rates a small amount, like increasing the text costs -anything - that is a "material change in the contract" you made with them and it nulls the contract with no early termination fee, they just hope you don't notice and are unaware of your rights, and the vast vast majority of people are. Voila, you're out of your contract.

actually the contracts are carefully worded so that only the price of your plan is protected by the contract. They can change system access fees, text fees, features like caller id and voicemail, and pretty much anything else except what your actual "plan" costs, and the contract allows it. Nice thought though
