A while back I left a comment on this video disagreeing with the review, but recently after re playing the original RE on PS1 and the RE remake on GC and then playing all of the other RE games, including RE 4 and 5, I've gotta say that I now agree with this review.
In the original RE games you just have to go through room after room after bloody room just to get a key for this door, to unlock that door, so you can get a key to open that door etc, BORING! New RE is much better than the old RE.

Wow, you nintendo kids really get butt hurt over any criticism. RE1 was excellent, there was no need for a port to the DS. The newer RE's are excellent as well, I've played them all and I like the way they've evolved and the remake on Gamecube was beyond amazing. Whats with all the Call of Duty hate? No controls can work better 4 classic RE. They work. However, new RE games can't use these controls. I'm sorry if people don't like run'n'gun controls but u kind of need them when crossbow bolts, bullets and rockets are coming at ur head.

I wish Resident Evil would revert back to its old story line. I miss the pre RE 4 days. RE was so revolutionary when it first came out. I wish Resident Evil would revert back to its old story line. I miss the pre RE 4 days. RE was so revolutionary when it first came out. As for this video, I believe they are degrading this classic to make more business for the more modern games. The kind of games that are played by gamers with short attention spans that do not have the mental capacity to enjoy an interesting story line.

These reveiwers don't know what classic gaming is if it bit them in the ass. The dialouge, hard controls, and just the way the game is made had made the original Resident Evil an ultimate classic. i'm VERY glad i did. i can play it where I want and relive the experience whenever I like, with easier accessibility.
The people reviewing in the video are fucking morons. Boring? They probably never even played the first game back when ps1 was top of the market.
