  • The trombone's solo is very cool!

  • Got my vote!

  • Infectious , Thank God or Buddha for Jazz Musicians Everywhere

  • 4:41 - 4:45 o.O

  • that tenor player sounds like brecker and joshua redman, I would kill for that tone.

  • @Gatorsfreak21 Thanks dude. like i just posted, these comments have made my day.

  • That's the closest i've ever heard someone get to Brecker's tone... Hell.Ya.Sonion.

  • @KrummyBear dude....thanks man! reading these few comments has made my day. coincidentally, I'm not a brecker head...I just got into his style for this arrangement. I do love his playing very much though.

  • @heavens2murgatroid1 Well I think you captured his Modus Operandy very well... O_O shameless, I know.

Diggin' it. I hope to follow my sister to UNT!... if not, northern colorado here I come.

  • wow! the lead tenor sounds like a straight laced sounding clone of brecker

  • @gjbsaxman94 I'll take this as a compliment! Thanks.

  • @gjbsaxman94 yeah it was meant to be a compliment :) hahaha

  • @gjbsaxman94 I disagree. The lead tenor has a tone that is more prominent in the low-midrange spectrum than Mr. Brecker's tone. He has a very nice tone though!

  • As a former tenor player and big band player/lover, they give me hope....

  • This is incredible arrangement, well done!

  • Can't stop listening to this. Well done, Swaim. Well done, One O'Clock.

  • The 2nd tenor has a fat sounding mouthpiece. It's tasty.

  • @HerrFoobert - I'd say he has a fat sound. Mouthpiece is just a tool. Someone else can play on a Hard-Rubber Ponzol and totally different. Mark is a boss, which is why he sounds good, and he would sound amazing on anything!

  • @jazZaremba hahaha. I like to be thought of as the boss! but seriously, thanks for saying this.

  • anyone know the intro tune? sounds awesome

  • @tambourDOM it's called 'The Last Theme Song' I think the video of it has just been posted. It will be the last track on lab 2011.

  • Nice....thanks for posting this

  • Excellent performance (as usual - been a great fan of the 1 o'clock for decades). I really liked the video editing (except for the close up of the drummer's addidas - who cares?) BTW - is that a torso harness to be clipped to a lesh on the bass clarinet? (just kiddin').

  • @LarryLaneTV haha i think that's to show his footwork... not promote adidas

  • NTS-Excellent Jazz Band and has been as long as I can remember in the last 40 years. Michael Brecker and his brother Randy are awesome.

  • So lucky to be a part of this.

  • Yay!

  • Wow is this really a student arr.? way to amazing.
