Few things on the Esprit are actually Lotus. This and that by GM. This and that by Renault. This and that by Isuzu. This and that by Toyota. That's why you could get a 175mph car with a 0-60MPH time of 4.7sec for around US$90,000 instead of paying more. Best semi-exotic value in my opinion. (I don't consider Corvettes or Vipers "exotic", but that's just me.)

They're not at all anyway; exotic mostly suggests a mid-engine, high-performance sports-car with the relevant price-tag. Corvettes and Vipers still fall into what I suppose could be called kind of 'super' muscle-car, but muscle nevertheless.

That's Roy Orbison singing. He had dozens of songs that charted, lots of number one hits, and has at least 3 songs in the Grammy Hall of Fame. He was God to the Beatles. Every songwriter worth their salt in the last forty years counts him as an influence. Gibson guitars makes a Roy Orbison signature guitar. I think his memory deserves more respect.
