The trouble with WoW is that, because the cinematic trailers look superb, they can lure the intrigued gamer into buying and subscribing to the game, where they will find that the graphics are far inferior to those that the trailers led them to expect. WoW is an immensely popular game, and it makes Blizzard a fortune. Surely Blizzard can afford to provide graphics that have a post-1990s appearance: perhaps something of the standard found in (albeit single player) Oblivion, for example.

@Snidebark You obviously have NO idea what 1990's graphics look like. Look at the game "Tibia" that is what they looked like. The graphics in WoW are made to look like a cartoon, and as most people know the graphics don't really matter it's the gameplay. Aion was said to destroy WoW because of graphics, it FAILED the gameplay just sucked. The cinematics are supposed to be dramatic and looking really nice for a finished product is everything.

The way Blizzard does their cinematics so well I say they should make an entire cinematic movie, instead of a live action one like they planned, but that's just my opinion. I am a little confused. According to the video he comes up out some mountains, but then shows him leaving the mountains and flying over Darkshore. There is a mountain near Teldrassil?

I wasn't really sure where he would emerge but I thought it was either from Deepholme, ( just north of Stormwind on the map), Up through the Maelstrom or out of Grim Batol.
