I grew up in Misawa from age 4-18. Thank you for posting this video. It is great to show the amazing things that northern Honshu has to offer. Thanks for letting me relive my great winters in Japan

Good naration, good editing, good vibe overall...

I love the Misawa area and hate to speak ill of it. If you're a weekend warrior, you will hate it. Be prepared for adverse weather and maybe you can get by. Otherwise, most people simply despise the place.

Hakkoda is AMAZING. It's too bad this video didn't highlight the good points of it. The skiers in it really lacked any skill and failed to show what is so amazing about the place. If you're a novice, stay away.

Seeing this video makes me miss Misawa even more. We spent 4 years there and 3 at Yokota.

I hope you dismiss WooDpenis' comment below mine. They are probably one of the close minded Americans who never venture out of their hometown and could never fathom how hospitable and welcoming the Japanese are. I wish more people could experience a different culture. I truly does make you a better person.

Way to use military members who get nothing from this. And instead of going to Hakkoda you should check out the ski lodge at Misawa Ab because you suck at skiing, which is actually a gay sport.
